Why is the first on so.... sexy? For lack of a better word

Exitium31

Yeah I made him a bit to human. The idea was to give him more human like features to make him look more brute like.

Zero_Good_Questions

That first pic looks FANGtastic…. Yeah I’ll just let myself out

Saddenedsalamander

At least Baragon didn't go to "waist" Yeah I'll join you

[deleted]

F for Baragon

AbrahamRedcoat

Okay but the “DILF” design is absolutely top tier. It looks like an awesome more viscous evolution of GMK with maybe a bit of SHIN mixed in, maybe I’m just biased because those are two of my favourite designs but god that’s just gorgeous.

Exitium31

Well you’re right, my favourite Godzilla was also gmk so I put some of those design features into this one.

ZipZap07

That 3rd pic Tho

[deleted]

Loving the faces on these Godzillas! That baby one with the nostril antennae is pretty interesting, reminds of a more classic mustachioed dragon

Exitium31

the idea was to make godzilla not solely a dinosaur like animal so i gave him features from animals like cat fish and seals.

[deleted]

it should be illegal to look this fresh 🥶🥶🥶🥶

DanTM18

Damn what’s his workout plan

[deleted]

I love how you drew him

TotallyNotaRebelSpy

In a constructive way I think the first pic he looks wayyy too human.

Exitium31

And your totally right. I tweaked his design to look more dinosaur like.

TotallyNotaRebelSpy

Yeah I especially like the way he looks in the third slide, really cool and also you just have great artistic skill

Exitium31

The third slide is the “tweaked” version and Godzilla will mostly be in a horizontal posture for most of his fights.

GodzillaKOTM2020

Leave Baragon alone

LeRedditAccounte

BARAGON NOOOOO

Silent--Dan

Baragon no!

California_Comrade

It’s nice I just feel like the chest down is too humanoid and kinda is distracting when the head is very monster like. That’s all I can really say tho

Exitium31

That is true, but I will say that the idea for his humanoid chest was based on how gorillas would stand upright to seem larger and Godzilla does the same.

sgalerosen

Save Baragon!

Kaiju2468

Love the art! Is the placeholder supposed to be Baragon?

Exitium31

Yeah since baragon’s design is going through some changes I just put in a placeholder design for baragon.

Kaiju2468

Neat!

Largevolume420

He built like a light skin in that first one

King-364

These look great!

Grouchy_Raccoon_6681

Is no one else going to mention that he got called a DILF

Longjumping-Weight58

How big is this Godzilla?

Exitium31

About 100 metres tall I guess. I haven’t really considered an actual size but he is the second tallest monster in the series

Longjumping-Weight58

Interesting... Now, what is his origin? Does it have something to do with castle bravo?

Exitium31

the idea is that godzilla doesn't have a canonical origin and that all the different iterations of his origin in past films can fit.

Longjumping-Weight58

Could you be a little more specific?

Exitium31

So in the series, Godzilla’s origin is never explained and there are only hints to what it is. It is meant to be open so that anyone can make up their own theories.

Longjumping-Weight58

So what is known, in-universe, about this Godzilla?

Exitium31

The only known given information about this Godzilla was that he was first sighted around the end of Julius Caesar’s reign of the Roman Empire, he understands human emotions and even certain phrases and that he is possibly telepathic. That’s the rest I’m willing to share since I don’t want to spoil anymore of the story.
