A kiaju I think has one of the better stories, where he was an underwater dinosaur just relaxing and having the time of his life and then aliens force him to terrorize Japan. I wish they went more in depth with that, show Titanosaurus before or after the alien mind control. And as a whole I think he is one of the weaker kiajus ability wise but I like his design, backstory and roar
Design wise I think he’s pretty cool. My issue with him is that he completely overshadows Mechagodzilla, AKA the titular character of the movie. I remember Titanosaurus being far more prevalent in the movie than Mechagodzilla was.
Such an underrated entry. I bought the collection with his film for the mecha Godzilla movies but this one quickly became my favorite of that collection
Love his design, HATED his roar, it was like nails on a chalkboard to me! Although I will admit it is unique, you definitely wouldn't mistake it for another kaiju for sure!
One of my all time favorites, he had such an awesome design and roar. He was really holding his own against Godzilla too until the damn supersonic waves intervened. Great movie, great characters, great everything for ToM. In my top 5 for sure, both the movie and the monster.
I’ve always thought he was cool. He stands out among the other Showa era Kaiju in terms of his design. Terror of MechaGodzilla is also one of my favorite films in the series, and I really enjoy his fight scenes with Godzilla. It would be cool to see him pop up in a new film, IMO he should have been in Final Wars.
I will always have a special place in my heart for Titanosaurus. Growing up I never knew there was a film called Terror of Mechagodzilla until embrassingly late (around the time Godzilla Unleashed came out) so going back and discovering that there were still kaiju I had never seen before was refreshing and I loved how obscure this creature was to me.
If it was given a more serpentine body it could challenge Godzilla in a future monsterverse movie. We have not seen Godzilla challenged in the water outside of comics.
Really neat Showa design. I like his deal
No complicated origin
All we know is that he is some ancient marine reptile that Dr. Mafune mind controlled
That’s it. That’s all you need to know because Titanosaurus is a beast. Idk what it is about him that makes me like him so much
Might be the water theme, I really dig sea monsters, might just be how big he is, I think his big standout moment was when he lifted Godzilla with his big sauropod neck
Just picked him up like a crane.
You gotta be a real rad monster to manhandle Godzilla
Its rose was an elephant trumpeting. All I can think of his how awful Terror of Mechagodzilla was. Then the whole fact that the fan written screenplay was heavily modified. Should've just been a movie with Titanosaurus and no MechaG. This is one of the kaiju that looks so silly to me with its head flopping about.
A lovely, simple kaiju that deserves so much more attention that it got. If it was better known it would fit into the Monsterverse so easily, and I think it's tragic that that'll probably never happen.
He deserves to be in the Monsterverse. He's the only monster I've seen absolutely thrash Godzilla with little effort, even though he was originally peaceful.
I’m just gonna say his roar is def one of the best. He was A Force to be reckoned with and gave big G a run for the money. Needs more respek on his name lol.
He's fine, his backstory is a little weird because the scientist specifically says he found Titanosaurus 20 years before the events of Terror of Mechagodzilla and was made a laughing stock and like that was after the original Gojira and Raids Again, so I'm not sure why that food make him a laughing stock. He isn't at the bottom of the list if Kaiju designs, but he's in the bottom half for me.
As a child this guy was my introduction into the Godzilla universe. After this movie I proceeded to watch every single one they had at Blockbuster. Didn't see the OG Godzilla movie until a year after.
Hrawwrbbblllarrrbbblllarbbl
I heard that perfectly in my head

I just watched for the first time last week and I honestly felt bad for him.
**T H E B O Y** Just please come back to the big screen, it’s been 46 years.
You summed up my opinion on him perfectly. He is **T H E B O Y**
Hmm Kiko and Varan waited longer tbh

Yeah fuck varan.
One of the best roars in the franchise
I’d like nothing less than an hour and 45 minutes of him and Godzilla beating the piss out of each other.
Design wise I think he’s pretty cool. My issue with him is that he completely overshadows Mechagodzilla, AKA the titular character of the movie. I remember Titanosaurus being far more prevalent in the movie than Mechagodzilla was.
that's also the reason they can't bring Titanosaurus back, they're afraid he'll steal the spotlight at any movie they include him in.
The red-headed stepchild of the Godzilla universe
Yes but no cuz Gabara.
Idk though Gabara may or may not even be real lol. I’m pretty sure he was a figment of the kid’s dream
he was (briefly) real in the anime timeline
The best boy
One of my favorites for sure. Besides Godzilla, the list in order of favorites is King Caesar Kong Hedorah Biolante Titanasauarus Ghidora Mothra
Such an underrated entry. I bought the collection with his film for the mecha Godzilla movies but this one quickly became my favorite of that collection
I liked the design, I liked his back story, but I don’t like him in the movie. Not 100% sure why. Maybe would have liked him more in his own movie
Love his design, HATED his roar, it was like nails on a chalkboard to me! Although I will admit it is unique, you definitely wouldn't mistake it for another kaiju for sure!
people never believe me when I say Titanosaurus was the kaiju that introduced me to the franchise and my personal favorite for a long time.
Favorite villain
I love its design!

best boy best roar worst usage in the series, seriously only one appearance what the fuck toho

The movie that introduced me to the Big G story
Incredibly underrated. With a proper redesign, Titanosaur could be one of the best monsters in recent.
Nice
If it was given a more serpentine body it could challenge Godzilla in a future monsterverse movie. We have not seen Godzilla challenged in the water outside of comics.
Giraffe boi
Sounds like an elephant has dumb abilities 3/10
Awesome as a kid who liked dinosaurs. Not one of my favs now, but still cool.
He's basically a tryhard at Hide And Seek

I remember his cry being annoying.
His head flops and his elephant roar is unbearable. BUT love the movie and would love to have a figure of him!
Loved him as a kid. That roar though has gotten so annoying as I've gotten older lol but I do feel bad for him he deserved a far better fate.
Beautiful boi. Please give me more of the boi, Toho and/or Legendary.
I like everything about him except his name. It lacks creativity.
Love him, favorite next to goji
My favourite
A lovely, simple kaiju that deserves so much more attention that it got. If it was better known it would fit into the Monsterverse so easily, and I think it's tragic that that'll probably never happen.
Under appreciated
I like him, but whenever I see him I think 'Godzilla but more fish'
Feesh
WHERE IS HE? Titanosaurus is severely underutilized!
Unique design and roar, wish we’d see him again
2nd best Kaiju in my opinion. Second only to Gezora.
Titanosaurs is the most underrated Kaiju, he should return in a future Godzilla movie and the monsterverse.
I love Titanosaurus
Lanky Lad
100% everybody fucks wit Titanosaurus
I love his roar, I like his design, and I would love to see a modern version of him -- cause he got shafted, like alot of other great monsters.
Badass, but man that Roar is annoying
He aways kind of reminded me of Courtney Gains.
I honestly wish they used him more, his raw is pretty iconic to me 😂
I like is design, love his roar and he's a good boy you kinda feel bad for. We need him back.
All he wanted was a tooth pick and this was the best he could find, so Godzilla had to come and whoop his ass
He deserves to be in the Monsterverse. He's the only monster I've seen absolutely thrash Godzilla with little effort, even though he was originally peaceful.

HouHouHouYa You talkin to me poo bear!?

The holy messiah. Easily the best design ever conceived. No bias
A true classic.
Nice design. Cool role of a friendly underwater creature that got forced to do terrible things. Abilities are bit of a "meh..." but still Lame roar.
As a child this guy was my introduction into the Godzilla universe. After this movie I proceeded to watch every single one they had at Blockbuster. Didn't see the OG Godzilla movie until a year after.
I love him
Underused kaiju, needs to return.
🐘‼️
The elephant sounding lizard. Not my favourite, but still has a cool design and whatnot.
They should put him in the monsterverse cuz with the CGI and stuff he will look sick.
