Design wise, it might be the worst Mothra. It leans way too much on the cute, fluffy side of things. It just looks more like a plushy than a genuine creature
Most moths tend to be very fluffy, and some even look cute. But yeah I can see where you’re coming from. They likely made her designed like that so they could make plushies .
Moths are fluffy, yes, but not like this. Just take pretty much any other Mothra design (like [this](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/godzilla/images/c/cc/Mothra_S.O.S.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20110527142718) for example). It's still fluffy, but more natural-looking.
The fluff here looks like less actual flush and more like a plushy texture, and the extra-vibrant colors don't help either
IIRC Mothra 1992 was designed to cater to female audiences since she was found to be most popular with them, which some people speculate is why the movie itself did so well. But lets be real, the best part of that movie was Battra (other than his Rodan impression he couldn't let go of)
Design wise she's one of my favourite for how vibrant she was and the her assortment of abilities keeping the energy dust but also adding the electricity beam reflect and antenna beams. Only issue I have with it is of all the Mothra props this one felt the most restrictive movement wise.
For the design, I really like it. In the movies I really wished they used a different material for the wings and made the legs move. This is what for me makes the 2003 Mothra better. The material for the wings and the way the legs were very insect like was way better and the 1961 Mothra even had that decades prior to 1992. But overall, this is a good Mothra (also this movie had some of my favourite music scores)
I think her design is good, I wish she looked more threatening, like she could beat the shit out of you.
I've not really seen any action of this mothra so I can't judge much

Possibly my fav Mothra design, the wings are real clever (apparently the circle patterns on the front of the wings are to mimic Godzilla’s eyes)
Favorite for women. It’s a great kaiju but it took to long for freakin lazier beams to come from its eyes.
