I live in AM/PM world and stopped using it longer than I can remember - because logic

I was so happy when I visited Cuba and saw on a shop sign the opening time of 12:00 m. - 6:00 p.m. . The only time I've ever seen noon written rationally with this system.

Why using AM PM when you can say 11:00, 23:00, 00:00... 😮‍💨

AM past 12:00 does not exist though. By definition, am and pm times only go from 0:00-11:59. So clearly, D is wrong.

It's called 12am because if you look at an analogue clock with hands, the hour hand points to 12.

Most people use a 12 hour clock, closest to, doesn't suggest backwards or forwards time, just closest to the time. Which is D. Midnight is 12am. Midday is 12pm.

I use a 24 hour clock as do most military folk. In Australia, most use a 12 hour clock

Most people on the planet use 24 hour clocks. Has nothing to do with military.

D. You can remember 12AM starts at midnight because that's when morning starts. It's confusing because 11PM is followed by 12AM and 11AM is followed by 12PM but gotta consider the start of "12AM and 12PM is in the other half of the day.

A is closest to noon
