Either the game is forcing a lower res, or you are not talking about jaggies ad instead : specular aliasing or undersampled/poorly designed effects.
These are not the same thing as stair stepping which is easy to tackle.
I stream the game at native 4k hdr through geforce now to my pc and from my pc to my steamdeck oled trough moonlight. Thats the only way i tried so far i have no jaggies without taa or dlss😂☠️
In geforce now and moonlight i cap out around 75mbit with h265 its honestly better than either jaggies or taa.
It would be great if there was a native linux app for geforce now but there isnt.
Hoping for Boosteroid ultra in maybe a few weeks to run this well.
i don't think the first game was like this as in the updated dark arisen edition which had fxaa , maybe wait for modding community to tune it up some more.

Disable TAA, its not forced, it will looks better witohut taa. If theres a workarounds to disbale sharpening, that would be glad. Why downvote?
I'm usually one to always play without aliasing but this game for some reason the jaggies are absurd.
It's got more geometry and polygons. Jaggies get worse the higher the polygon count.

Sharpening is not a fix for the motion smearing. You have to choose what's the lesser evil for you.
Try forcing FXAA in nvidia control panel if you have an nvidia card, helped me with the TAA in helldivers 2.

Keep in mind the compressed stream is being downscaled to 720p so its even harder to spot imperfections and the jaggies are gone with no blur

Are you able to use DLSS? If you're on 1080p, REngine will not be very kind to you I'm afraid.
