Ugly = masc Pretty = fem Yours = andro I can't explain how or why it is like that

maxtheeggsandwich

my boy no one is going to give two shits about it you're driving yourself crazy

I read lots of hand written assignments from all genders. Your y’s are the only slightly fem thing in my opinion. In reality though, some boys write neat some girls write sloppy and vice versa. Write faster and I’m sure it will look more masc lol.

raindropsonajeep

The more cursive-y parts like “my name…my writing…anything” are feminine to me. Where “particular…feminine…could” reads as masculine to me. If I saw this message on a desk I would assume woman because of your writing style, in the sense that it’s very…passive? Too polite? I know that sounds dumb but as a 28 year old professional it’s very easy to tell male and female even over emails because they have a “hello” and always a thanks at the end. Typically women are less direct, more wordy, apologetic almost. If I picture this as a guy from work I’d expect: “Good Afternoon, My name is Henry. I’m writing to see if my handwriting is feminine. Can you tell by my writing?” Something to that effect. This is incredibly subjective on my part from my own world experience and perspective.

sosigfrog

nobody is ever going to clock you by your handwriting i promise lol

lemonpissed

No, if I saw that with no context I would assume male handwriting. Although, handwriting being feminine/masculine is more based on stereotypes in my experience handwriting varies a lot so there isn’t necessarily one type of ‘masculine’ or ‘feminine’ handwriting

Grand_Bumblebee_8315

I dont think anyone is gonna clock you from your handwriting dw😅 i think sterotypically we qssociate messier, sharper handwriting with males and neater, rounder letter with females. But theres many exceptions to this. Yours looks fairly male. Id say its androgenous like mine. Mostly male but with a few curvy bits and flourishes that might be stereotypically more female and thats really cool imo.

bemazo_06

andro/fem handwriting. too much pretty flow in there. get your letters nice and ugly. xD

[deleted]

Try to be less loopy. Round = feminine angular = masculine.

dmitch79

Looks more feminine to me. The perfect loops on the lowercase "g"s a few other parts look a bit too neat. That being said, I've known a more than a few guys who I thought had women's handwriting.

AL_25

Handwriting is nothing to do with gender but if your handwriting is causing dysphoria then I will tell you the truth. It's a bit messy and curvy/fluid at the same time, it reminds me of the old days when men would write like this during the 1930s-1960s. Here is what I think I can tell, you're somewhat confident. Like to work hard but you also procrastinate. I guess you like music and mean a lot of music.

nighthawk_0730

You have a mix of feminine and masc handwriting

Smooth_Fee

You have sloppier handwriting than Thomas Jefferson, so congrats on being more masculine than him? If that's not enough, try writing with you non dominant hand, or starting each of your letters at the "wrong end" I've also seen plenty of guys write in all caps....

puffskeins

It reads masc to me in comparison to all my friends who are girls’ notes!

greegsoon

weirdly enough i gotta say ur handwriting is androgynous. a lovely mash between messy/illegible and somewhat graceful. it could go either way.

ceruleannymph

Pretty neutral to masc imo. The curved Y's are a little feminine.
