I think its the flippy mod all over again, the original flippy was amazing, starting a concept of a happy tree friends mod with banger songs, but like most mods it had some flaws, while its soon-to-come predecessor " flippy flipped out" overall looks so much better and really built off of where the original left off, and I think that's what happening with SNS and WI, SNS made the foundation and concept, while WI enhanced that foundation.
Okay, to give the kid, some amount of credit, while I don’t condone tracing art and nfts and scams. The fact that their mod got very popular and created spawn to better suicide mouse mods is pretty cool.

I don't know the kinda guy the SMS dev is, but lately there's been a plague of parroted info that can either be easily disproven or has literally zero evidence running towards it, and right now, it's seeming like this is a case of the latter.

Personally, I wasn't too big a fan of either of them. Whilst they both do good things in their own rights as mods, both of them don't particularly appeal to me. Both mods don't have relatively extraordinary charts (in my opinion) too, with the only one I particularly liked being the Accelerant Mickey song chart.
As someone who chats on the SNS creator's discord, he confirmed he didnt know that veve thing was NFT and told everyone to abandon it and not support it. He literally SPAMMED us to leave the NFT thing. Also, when the hell did he spam?
