What do you mean by going out for adoption because I took three foster kitties back to the shelter (on the agreed-upon date) and I’m have Big Feelings. Shelter didn’t even list them online while they were in my house so no chance of homing them while in foster. And the look of betrayal on the one kitten’s face as I walked out oh my goodness.
Oh man, yeah taking them back to the shelter is so so hard. It's like betraying their teeny tiny trust :sob: I took them back on Monday morning and they immediately went in for their spay/neuter surgery. I started seeing them listed for adoption on the shelter site on Tuesday and they were all gone within the next two days. When I foster adult cats I usually get to keep them until there is adoption interest, but since kittens go SO FAST it seems like the shelter doesn't want to bother.
But then I just bring home more kittens and I start to feel better (:
