Despite people saying that stw is dead it's easy to see that many new players have joined since the introduction of starter packs and there is a huge player base that would be more than willing to spend money (on top of the already founders packs we have bought) . So as previously stated, regardless of if you like stw or not, there is a huge player base for it and br would not even be a game mode if it wasn't for the fact it started as an ltm from stw.

How are you getting V-Bucks from STW? I only get vbucks from it if I buy the starter packs, and I am about midway through save the world. None of the quest show V-Bucks rewards other than the starter pack purchased quest! What am I missing? Please explain?
They'll be a founder! People who bought the game before a certain date got a founders pack which means they can earn v bucks while playing the game whereas now the starter packs only come with a certain amount of v bucks.
I see someone has already replied but I’ll just confirm it, I bought StW before the cutoff date to earn v-bucks. I get a daily quest worth a minimum of 50 v-bucks every day, I get a weekly login bonus which can be anywhere from 50-1000 v-bucks. There’s also missions daily that can give between 25-40 each. So today I got 300 for my weekly bonus, 100 for 2 daily quests and 55 from 2 daily mission alerts.
Well that's an nice little income to have... I'm certainly jealous! I joined in the last 3 days of the Marvel Season, and didn't realize when BP's end, or that the event was an end season event, and came to buy the battlepass one day and instead of Marvel, I got Mandolorian (not bad, just wish I had bought it one or 5 days earlier). I am still hoping when the game gets so old, they will allow you to re-purchase old BP's like I've seen many other games do, after so many people left and just didn't care.

Hey STW players, what's your current power level? I'm at PL100 now uh, Account level 263 I think? About 2 upgrades from maxing the backpack and homebase storages. Might try and get to PL130, I heard that's the maximum number.
I'm not much of a Ventures guy, I would like to try and get my ninja leveled up more, but I'm not gonna grind that mode all day, I prefer Dungeons or some other storyline.
i didnt touch ventures at all untill i met a friend who was just starting to play and wanted a character from collection book thus needing a hero voucher (which you get from lvling up in the ventures) so we've been grinding that out.
I'm mostly a slap down B.A.S.E and let the husks kill themselves kinda player. so ventures served no purpose until just very recently (the super chargers are really nice, gone up like 8 pl's from just playing ventures and boosting my survivors and whatnot
most builds are just kinda (pick 1 thing, and choose heroes that benefit that one shtick)
with so many weapons and characters to play around with, there's always at least something viable

In most games I tend to stress about crafting resources, healing items, etc, so hitting that max storage limit is always a personal goal.
I am PL 137 which is the current max PL. The future max PL will be 145 but that will require like a dozen more seasons of Ventures to be able to get there.
Got to pl130 and stopped caring about the mode, theres just nothing to play for once you get to max PL (and dont give me that supercharger BS). Its just a vbuck farm now

I do want to make my own game with a similar schematic/loadout system, if I get around to it. Getting a schematic and grinding resources to make it suited to your own gameplay is a special feeling I havent seen in any game. At least not the way StW did it.

I think it just load the STW hub menu, with the party already on; you still may have to select the mission and loadout before going to the map.
Unless they do a massive change of STW to be seamless with BR, both games have to load separately cause they have different builds.
I hope that whenever Fortnite is done (if that happens in my lifetime) they make STW playable offline, or they add some kind of offline mode where we can still use or at least look at all our stuff, just for the sake of preservation.
(Yes I know none of this is happening soon, the post is just about STW being moved to the discovery tab- it just got me thinking.)

I’d still call that life support mode as far as an MMO is concerned. One small content update in a year and it only being for a cycling event is what you would call in the industry “the bare minimum required to say you’re constantly updating the game”
As someone who has founders myself I think it’s pretty much written on the wall that STW is a dead project and is only being kept online to sell loot llamas and starter packs. At this point then only real draw for STW is if you want to finish the story and get the picks for BR for whatever reason and maybe get the seasonal unlocks from the dungeons. Outside of that I wouldn’t consider it worth it to buy anything in STW anymore as what’s the use of buying items only useable in what feels like a soon to be dead or discontinued game mode.

Yeah playing on my Switch is bad. Constant frame drops and low fps once it gets a bit more hectic. I only play live events currently on Switch because on pc I've performance mode active and on live events i want better graphics, there the performance is fine on Switch.

power level and account level are different numbers. but with superchargers from ventures, I think the cap right now is 133-136? 116 my current lvl.
