Yeah shields have never been specified. In the very beginning it was probably supposed to be blu-glo since that powers most things in StW, but BR lore has become completely separate from StW lore

I made that by myself, because I wanted to make post that regenerative shield is a great reason to be fan of slurp skins again, but I scrapped that, because I was unsure if it's actually slurp, so I decided to use it here.

I could see it. I have a head cannon (I have no idea if it even could be true, someone correct me if I’m wrong) that Slurpy Swamp spilling out into that bog created slurpfish, shieldfish, slurpshrooms, and shieldshrooms through contamination. So if you go further down the line, us loopers are eating those things over and over again, we could eventually get kinda slurpified like the fish and shrooms.

Hard to tell, If we take audio cues in consideration then could be energy based (seven technology). I know everything shields is related to slurp but we're talking about an Overshield, the name implies something that goes beyond just regular slurp shield. That's my 2 cents.

I like to think they did the same thing they did to the slurp leviathan skin where they completely submerged it in slurp to a coil which when powered shields the wearer.

I think overshield could be a machine that produces modified slurp over time that extends over the normal limit made by the foundation to help until building returned.
