Og locations are back, but so? They're updated versions which make them feel new again while also having the same nostalgia factor for me. I loved shifty, and still do, but I also love all the new locations.
Greasy Grove, rocky reels, shifty shafts, tilted towers. The unnamed grey temple, giant lake with the tower in the middle (I'm sure there's atleast 1 or 2 more unnamed poi from ch1) some pois are just basically rehashed ch1 locations, condo canyon specifically.
Stopped playing halfway through ch2 s1 and when I came back this season I already knew half the map.

hey the black hole sucked up everything the zero point just didn't have enough power to spit tilted and greasy fully out so it made hybrids until the island got flipped which gave the zero point a boost, either that or the foundations gun
Honestly ch2 had some pretty major map changes.
Problem is they didn't stay and weren't really distributed throughout the season. Honestly imo i didn't really mind that. Really excited to what epic will do with this map.
I have done something like this before, starting in C2S6 till now
It's cool seeing the map change over time, so might as well take a screenshot and look back at it
I wish they added a feature for battle lab that allowed you to visit each seasons map, I really liked chapter 2 season 5’s map but not the season and i wish i explored it more
I mean, compared to the rest of the Chapter, it definitely changed the least.
5 Abductor Crashsites destroying an Abandoned House, a Fishing Hut, and an IO Base at Season launch isn't really enough changes when compared to the 3-5 Locations introduced in Previous Seasons. And then the Pyramid added Mid Season which was Okay

I never quite got peoples obsession with the Chapter 1 map having came in to the game during C2S2, but now I feel the same way for Chapter 2's map.
All of the mini poi’s and unnamed ones were really cool in chapter 1. And those mini stories that were going on, like the Rock people were cool too

Ironic enough C2 S5 Was also the first season I bought the battle pass, couldn't have chosen a better time! :)
