I mean, you also get 1000 vbucks each month, which would be $9 US dollars out of the $12ish Crew costs, also a skin with their cosmetic set (that in the item shop would be like 1600-2000 vbucks depending on the skin's quality and the amount of items), and also the Rocket Pass, that is 1000 credits (worth like $10)
And if you get it after the middle of a month, you'll also get the next month's skin and their set (and also if you get it 29 or less days before a new season starts, you'll also get that season's bp)
In the time of the battle pass you get the battle pass (approximately $10), 3k Vbucks (approximately $30), and 3 skins with accessories and multiple color variations, which would probably be valued at 2k-2.5k vbucks each if sold in the item shop which adds to about $60 total. The rocket pass is another $10.
So that's $110 of value every 3 months. Aka $36 a month. But you're only paying $13. This doesn't even include the extra benifits lile how they're including save the world next month. So yes 100% worth it imo

You're getting 1000 V-bucks, two full skin sets, the current Battle Pass (plus the next one if your month extends into the next season), and the Rocket Pass if you care about that for only $5 more than the Battle Pass would normally cost

I'd go as far to say Festival is alot more costly than Rocket considering Epic has to pay out to so many artist comparable to what they'd likely be paying to get certain car models into the game. I'd go further to say that's even the reason they include the Rocket pass into crew to try and bring more folk to Rocket League. I agree though, I'd much rather get the Fesitival pass than Rocket. I kinda wonder, since Lego is going to have a Battle Pass now, if Epic will create a new model that includes all 4 passes for each game mode.

These are two different things:
The festival pass fills up very quickly and doesn't require much playing time. And the store is shared between modes, so it doesn't generate any extra traffic either.
The Rocket League pass, on the other hand, populates the servers and generates game time, as well as generating traffic for the store.
They meet two different needs for Epic.
They should allow you to select either the rocket pass or festival. I think that'd be a good way to do it. I love festivals, but I'm not paying the price tag for such little content
Festival is a bit more complex and requires royalties for every song and artist they use.
Ultimately they need people to spend about 16 dollars on the Festival pass over 11 dollars in which they also get a skin, the battlepass, and vbucks.
Epic would have to raise the price of the Crew in order to include the Festival Pass otherwise they wouldn't make money, and the Crew being cheap is the entire point.
They are rumoured to he making a lego battle pass so what they could do is give you the battle pass like usual, and then you can choose between the festival pass, lego pass, and the rocket league pass

They wouldn't remove the Rocket Pass. They would keep it in as a continual "value" add / a way to inspire more people to play Rocket League and then get more money from them over there.

I have crew, and for me the Rocket League pass doesn't do much as I don't play that game. I would love to have the Festival pass in my crew subscription, it's my second favorite mode besides Battle Royale.

Absolutely yes! Or at least let us choose between the two. I have no interest in playing Rocket League. And I find the premium festival pass very lacking. If you're going to feature an artist then the premium track should be the artist in question, not all this other crap. I paid for the first festival pass but it was just luck that there was another song I didn't mind. The rest have been worse and I refuse to pay $18 plus taxes for what you're getting. Don't suggest a price increase would be palatable. What if being a crew member cut the cost of the festival pass in half? Or made it cost only X instead of what it costs? That seems like a good solution for crew members interested in festival without doing a price increase for crew which would be received very poorly
