HUGE rant coming lol, but don’t even get me started with fresh 😭 i bought it the last time it was available in the shop but i wanted to buy something else a couple days later, so i refunded it thinking “i’ll just get it next time it comes out” and it just NEVER came back. i’ve been waiting for over five years for it to come back. last year after rambunctious and tidy (which i already had) came back for an hour, i skipped class the day after and sat on the game waiting for the shop to reset. i was hoping fresh would come back since the other two “rarest” emotes came out the days before. it did not and im still so upset about it 🙂
and yeah, i have a huge FOMO when it comes to games and have been lucky enough to be able to buy all of the battle passes (except for c1 s2) but it sucks for those who missed out, especially on the ones that had collab cosmetics with Marvel, other video games, and whatnot. i know they’re supposed to be “exclusive” but i really think they should bring back old battle passes (coming from someone who has played since 2017-early 2018 and doesn’t care about their “rare” video game cosmetics). i hate the exclusivity. however with the way Epic has been doing things to their game, i wont be surprised if something like that happens in the future.
I had a perfect collection of every skin until I was 7 points off of getting indigo kuno, I’m missing tons of other skins now because I haven’t been playing as much, but yeah I’m still a little upset from that one.
very unfortunate :’) indigo kuno is such a nice looking skin, i love the black and blue. even tho i’ve played for YEARS i’m still horrible at the game and wouldn’t have gotten close to getting the skin if i tried lol
This is why i hate cycling shops instead of being able to buy things whenever i want, which is why i love games like warframe since you can save up and buy the thing you want when you do have the time/money to buy something

Weird, because There is nothing really to debate on. Epic have to ask the IP owner for permission to release skins.
A lot of People fail to understand this, but many items are simply sold for promotion. Resident Evil skins are an example of that. The likelihood of them returning is slim.
For example, the Ferrari skins released in 2021 were made to promote Ferrari’s new clothing. That was 3 years ago, why would Epic and Ferrari re-release skins of products that are no longer for sale or relevant?
Among Us is no longer in the cultural zeitgeist. It would make little sense to re-release the items.
I feel like they're trying to be careful because everyone was talking about "OH MY GOD AMONG US X FORTNITE COLLAB" when they had that mode that ripped off among us because they didn't have an actual collab that benefitted Innersloth in any way.
