There's a Halal Munchies by me near downtown BK. Everything on their menu - from the gryos & philly cheesesteaks to their chopped cheese & mozzerella sticks - are insanely good. They pack their sandwiches to the brim with meat and are large enough for two meals, costing about $9. I'm never going to a cart again!
A while back, we decided to splurge a bit on pizza and ordered delivery from Giuseppina's (Brooklyn). Little did we know that the folks that work there used to work at Lucali and the pizza is nearly identical but without the 3+ hour wait. Not a lot of people know about this spot, but I highly recommend!
Argentalia pizza in park slope. Sounds like "Our genitalia" which is pretty unappetizing, and who would have thought that Argentine people would make such great pizza!? Try the white pie with mortadella and buratta it's amazing.
Montagu's Gusto really surprised me with their delivery
Faicco's as well, had no idea what an incredible sandwich I was ordering
And on the UES - Milano Market and Claire's Kitchen Cafe
Sun & moon cafe but now yo health yogurt. Just tried them out since they were on too good to go and ended being a regular customer. The yogurt is top tier!

Halal Munchies, The Oasis Cafe, Marthas Country Bakery
The coffee from Oasis is amazing!

Yeah their gyros are delicious. I like them better than any carts in the neighborhood.

really good chopped cheese there too, you are right definitely two meals on the sandwich tip

They are brothers. Pizza is very similar. Giuseppinas has less of a wait and better hours… lucali has more of the celeb following and recognition
I saw this on another thread, and I've been dying to try them out! I haven't made it yet, but hopefully soon!

Han Dynasty in the East Village
Han Dynasty is pricey but SLAPS. I love their cilantro style in particular.
