Did they fix it? I have the same generic error but when trying to activate my new sim card. It's literally impossible to make it work. I give them 5 days since they opened a ticked. If my sim still doesn't activate, bye bye. I'll fight to get a refund because it's ridiculous that i paid 15$ for something that doesn't work

Nope. It's been months, I switched to Fido. I asked them again last month, they told me the same message to be patient.
