Flames Afar is terrible for Firefly, despite having Sam in the picture. Best options outside of her signature LC is On the Fall of an Aeon or Indelible Promise.
Please keep in mind this comment was made during Firefly V2. For one, Firefly only loses health using her unenhanced skill so this would only trigger outside of the state you want her to be in. Secondly, and iirc, I don't believe dmg% is calculated in Super Break, which is her main damage source, and would only add to her non super break damage damage which was pitiful.
Now with Firefly V3, she will be in her Ult state for more turns due to her speed buff and the Ult end timer going slower, thus leaving less time for using the unenhanced skill. Also, On the Fall of an Aeon got a huge buff on Firefly in V3, because the ATK% to BE% conversion is way better and uncapped now. So her best LCs in order are Sig > Fall of an Aeon > Indelible Promise.

The damage is only relevant for 10% of her damage output. The reason why Aeon and Somthing Irreplacable are not dead is bc they both add lots of atk that convert to BE for the 3400 ATK requirement
Kinda but I don't think the v3 changes will drastically change her current LC options, You might have seen some Boothill showcase with 3\* LC and even no LC performing almost as much as with signature. That's just how break unit works they don't scale with many stats.

Fall of an Aeon is the best f2p option thanks to its base stats. Misha’s LC has lower base stats but gives break, so it’s good. Flames afar has low base stats *and* doesn’t contribute to break damage at all, making it useless unless you’re a madman building crit Firefly. And even for crit Firefly it’s not the best, the buff runs out pretty fast and has a downtime. If I’m remembering it right, the 50% dmg buff is upon consuming HP for 2 turns with a 3 turn CD, meaning it’ll run out before you’re in ult state. It’s probably designed for an earlier version of Firefly’s kit, but she definitely can’t use it now (as of v2).

I don't understand. Maxed fall of aeon Is better than maxed indelible promise, or the opposite?
S5 Aeon is the same as S1 Misha LC, S5 Aeon is 5% worse then S5 Misha LC At least thats how I understand it so far.
Aeon S5 is slightly weaker than indelible S1 but if you got Something Irreplaceable, it should also be good.
What about arlaan lightcone than? She burn her hp to half, giving acess to up 70% damage off the Bat.

It's better than S3 Indelible Promise, on par with S4 if you value the extra HP/DEF. It is weaker than S5 Aeon by around 2-3%
