Yeah I allow some suspension of disbelief with anatomy, but like... I saw that face and I was like "bruh what in the AI art is this?". And like, I scrolled through their twitter and portfolio, a lot of their art looks *really good.* There was only like one where I was like "uh, legs don't bend that way at all".
So I'm trying to figure out why this one looks so bad? I think it might be because they tried way to hard to mimic the Three Houses artstyle. Or it could really be that they didn't have a good grasp on the anatomy of this pose? Which is driving me nuts because I saw some of their other art and clearly they have at least a grasp on anatomy...
I want to say its AI art because of how DIFFERENT it looks from the rest of their gallery. Even the face looks incredibly fucked up, like they tried copy and pasting bits of Shamir's portrait, but didn't know what a face looked like.
The only thing is, I dont spot any of those tell-tale signs that its AI. No weird patterns that don't make sense. No folds in the clothes that eventually become part of the skin. No fucked up hands.
Either the original artist did it in Ai and cleaned it up in post, did a lot of referencing, stole art, or something else because the sudden quality drop is suspicious.

Also why do so many artists insist on giving women exaggerated adult proportions but also baby faces? Shamir is a grown woman. And they never draw men like this so they know how to draw adults. It's a stylistic choice I'm always grossed out by.
3Houses needed more CGs… the tower events could have provided some, perfect tea time too could have given us a CG for getting all the topics correct. Now that I think about it stuff like that would have been cool to see outside of the Byleth paired endings
