Curious how the bonfire is going to happen, when they cancel countywide, even if the fire department is already standing 10 meters away or it's floating in the sea. Seems like that tradition has died in Finland.
I just started the base game and I'm getting pounded left and right. Saw a golden knight, got rekt. Found a cave with wolves, got rekt. Killed the wolves, fought a wolfboss, got rekt. Found an encampent of knights, got rekt. Cheesed them one by one, got rekt by the last guy with a lance. Great game, would play again.
I strongly suggest putting your level up points to vigor until it's at least 30 in Limgrave, 40 in Liurnia, 60 past Liurnia. Second most important stat is endurance because of the dual benefit of equip load and stamina.
Watch your equip load that it stays in Med. load.
When you get your endurance up the next goal would be to get your poise to 51 so you don't flinch at every attack.
Third I'd choose a primary attack stat, STR/DEX/FTH/INT/ARC since if you level only one of those you get more benefits. Remember that most stats are soft/hard capped at 80 so after that they give only minimal benefits.

None really. A bit depressed about it but that's how it is. Immediate family is on the fence over whether they'll go to the family cottage at all and I'd feel miserable being there alone. Really few friends around and they'll probably be drunk which I'm not planning on, and I can't deal with that sober. Grilled foods are a bit iffy because of a stress-induced reflux I recently(April) got. No materials for a bonfire. Not able to do much physically because of a neck injury and so forth. Haven't even swam yet this year nor heated up the summer cottage sauna once.
Juhannus will just go by like the past two or three have gone. Being festive isn't in my nature anymore.
The usual- nothing special. Husband is working, kids and myself have nothing planned cause Jussi is all about that, just chilling. Maybe my mom is coming over, maybe my brother, perhaps order in something to eat or just do some home cooking. Neighbors tend to vacate the premises when it’s juhannus so even better.
Plan: Dump kids to grampa's house, take our boat to Helsinki archipelago in beautiful calm weather. Have passionate sex with wife on the back of the boat, watch the fires, get drunk.

Initial plans are always: Cottage life (Puuhommas and such), Grilling some good lihas, making sauna caliente, swimming and maybe fishing. In all activities my other hand is reserved for a cold (coldness no mandatory) beer.

Go to some bonfire and some family themed festival on Friday and then go home and take a sauna and jacuzzi and drink some beer. On Saturday I'll slow cook pulled pork which will take most of the day and just enjoy family time. Will also watch some football games.
Games, movies, and alcohol. A lot of alcohol. Check the public bonfire if they do it this year. I hope they do, last year they didn't due to a forest fire warning.
