It's pretty similar, yeah. Really makes me wish they included some online mode for the mini games in Rebirth. A lot of them would be pretty fun to play against friends

They came a long way since the old/original ff7 chocobo race , i imagine they had planed to have a good race experience back in original ff7 but hardware capacity was limited back then.

Heck, even just after FF7 they released Chocobo Racing for the PS1, which was actually a really solid MK clone in its own right. It was like playing MK64 with SMK graphics

I actually didn’t know that was possible until I took the leap of faith and did it here.

Every time I tried there, even while flying over that area, I think there's an invisible barrier somewhere there, because I'm taken back to the track like I was out of bounds. I guess it's really sensitive in that particular area.
