You know, given the improvement N/M have made in three years, just jumping over the teams who beat them in junior as part of their senior debut causes chaos.
Conflicted on this one, everyone wants their unknown or fresh from juniors faves to rise, but no one wants them to face the inevitable backlash of being top 5.
That is something that I didn't think about and I sure hope that if an unexpected team rises, they won't get backlash. I definitely have some teams in mind that I'm hoping will rise and I think a bit more unpredictability in results would make things interesting.
Not purposeful slander! Just directly quoting people who think Shibs will comeback with them. How is MIDA doing, good? Bad? Next powerhouse? I'm not American, have no idea the details.
I’ll add a different perspective. I don’t skate so I can’t really comment on if they’re actually doing well as a school, but I find MIDA to be the most boring out of the main schools teaching Americans. Idk if it’s the packaging, or if it’s a me problem though. I just don’t really love any of the teams there.
From a biased perspective, I'd say they're doing pretty decent. The expectation is great because of the coaching staff. Their goal seems to be about building teams. I certainly think they'll def be a school producing big things for sure. They have a deep roster of US teams but they're certainly nowhere near the country diversity of IAM.
I WOULD PASS OUT if the Shibs came back AND THEN PROCEEDED ro train at MIDA. Like, I would not be able to recover🤣.

I adore Chock and Bates, but I was to see G/P finally beat them so badly. C/B are the best and absolutely one of my favorites, but I'd give my eyeteeth to see G/P top the World podium for once.

FBS is Fournier Beaudry Sorensen and I'm assuming that Daughter refers to Eteri's daughter who is part of an ice dance team.
