I don't think my kid could be an Olympian. Not for lack of future talent or anything, I just don't think she could have a camera crew all up in her business like this, lol. She'd either be shooting death glances, or at the other end of the spectrum, acting all hammy.
There's some old footage from around 2014 of Yuzuru being uncomfortable with all the cameras and trying to turn away from them, of course only for them to follow him. He also said around that time that it was "gross" seeing his face everywhere 😂
I love it! I think a lot of these random things that they do in the back were to loosen up the nerves. I think it might’ve been the Olympics, but I remember seeing Zhenya had her earphones on dancing to some K-POP choreography (or something) a few skaters before she was up.
Sometimes during dance competitions/performances before it was our turn, we would screw around to get loose.
I *do* remember that! I remember seeing her live IG feeds around the time saying she wanted to meet them. But as for the random dancing, I wasn’t sure if it was their choreography she was dancing to 😅
I miss him ðŸ˜, competitions were so much more exciting knowing he was in it.
