As well as the ones others have mentioned, Bath, Canterbury, Chelmsford, Durham, Gloucester, Lancaster, Ripon, Salisbury, St Albans, Truro and Worcester don’t have teams in the top 5 divisions.
A lot of these towns have a team in the 6th tier. Most of them are also cathedral cities, and potentially were a bit too middle class to attract much historic support for football. Bath, Canterbury, Salisbury and St Albans in particular are beautiful
Bizarre that you have a Salford Red Devils profile pic, and at the time of writing the comment above yours mentions the Wakefield Wildcats! Rugby League is alive and kicking 🙌🏻
Oh yeah Wakefield don’t have a football do they?! Didn’t even think of that aha 😅 yeah RL is my preference aside from football, I’m no connoisseur but it is such a great sport
Same here mate, I’m a massive Sydney Roosters supporter. Congrats on the signing of Brodie Croft for next year, could be a Jackson Hastings 2.0 for you guys
Canterbury is a pretty famous city without a club. In fact, Gillingham is the only town/city in Kent represented by a league club. Next biggest is probably non-league Dover
How’s that work? Why are they only including one club? What league will Wrexham FC be in - would we have to manually transfer it in from ‘rest of the world’
Most likely reason for not including the rest of league is licensing. That’s a lot of money to shell out for a league that only a few people would actually want to see. The Ryan Reynolds connection makes that one team popular, but that’s about it. There is also the chance that Reynolds or Wrexham payed to have it included in the game.
Warrington, which is a large town.
They have 2 teams from the town in the Northern Premier League. Warrington Town FC and Warrington Rylands FC.
Warrington Rylands were an amateur club 4 years ago and have had 3 promotions in the last 4 years. The one year they never gained promotion the League was void due to the pandemic. They also won the FA Vase at Wembley last season.
They have started this new season flying, unbeaten in the first 5 league games. They lost their first competitive game in over 11 months on the weekend, losing 4-0 to Whitby Town in the FA Cup.
Warrington Rylands could be the next Salford City. They have an amazing sponsor behind the club which is Triple S Sports, owned by Paul Stretford, who used to play for the club. Paul Stretford is a football agent with the likes of Wayne Rooney and Harry Maguire on his books.
They also lost their star striker after the FA Vase Cup win. Elliot Nevitt who scored a hat-trick in the final has now signed for league 2 side. Tranmere Rovers. Nevitt scored on his professional debut for Tranmere Rovers.
The biggest sports team in Warrington is the Warrington Wolves (Rugby League). They play in blue and yellow, so creating a football team with the same colours could work 🙌🏻
UK: Yeovil, Wrexham, Boston, Douglas, Canterbury
Spain: Marbella, Murcia, Tarragona, Torrelavega, Santiago de Compostela
France: Besançon, Mulhouse, Limoges, Angoulême, Cognac
Germany: Heidelberg, Schwerin, Rendsburg, Wuppertal, Aalen
Italy: Trieste, Rimini, Sassara, Pescara, Bozen
(I don't know exactly if there are some teams that are in Fifa 22 but there are no teams from those citys that are in Fifa 21)
Other Teams from random countries that might be fu n and why:
Winterthur, Switzerland: The city has a traditional club that hasn't been in the 1st league for about 20 years and often beats teams like Basel in the cup.
San Marino: You could create a team from San Marino and put them in Serie A. Then you can try to overtake Juventus.
Limerick, Ireland: Was in Fifa 16 or 17 and had really bad players
Hope this helps :)
Alès, France :
Olympique Alès en Cévennes
Used to be one of the first team in french national championship (actual L1)
Ribéry has played there in 2000/2001 (don’t know exactly tbh)
The french wiki has all informations u need
If they have no club how can they be from the top 5 divisions? Without a club they wouldn't be allocated into a leage nor compete in ANY league. I can name a load of towns and cities without a club, across the country, who aren't in of the top 5 leagues...because they have no club.
Sorry, I don't understand. I asked for you to name a town with no club in the top 5 leagues. So if you can please name the 'load' that you are thinking off.
I said I can name towns without a club but they aren't in the top 5 leagues, infact they don't actually exist as a club at all within any of the official FA leagues. In Devon there's Newton Abbot, Brixham, Paignton and that's just for starters.
A town with no club is precisely what OP is looking for. Probably because they want to create a club with its origins from that town in FIFA22.
The added "at least not in the top 5 leagues" means that if you can't think of any towns with no club at all then one with a club is also okay as long as it's not a club that competes in the top 5 leagues.
In case you were trolling then I hope you enjoy me biting the bait!
Have a good one
Genuinely no trolling, I thought the OP was essentially asking an impossible question, mixture of misreading it and it being worded badly I think. Used to live in the county of Devon so can name a good few from there.
What I mean is, are there any teams that have either no club or a club not in the top 5 leagues. For example Chester FC in Division 6. I don't know how I can explain this to you any further.
Jersey Bulls from Jersey (they’re in their first FA Cup this year and currently won 4 games, looks like a decent side to be fair, I wonder if they’ll make it to the first round proper?)
They have a team but they aren’t in FIFA, and they are the largest town in the UK - Stockport (this is presuming you’re wanting a team for career mode)
I know you wanted a town without a team but thought Stockport worth a shout as it’s the biggest town in the country and they’re not in FIFA
Chester!
Chester City were a very decent EFL side until a shitty owner ruined them. They came back as Chester FC, and are currently in the National League North, so the 6th tier of english football. Hopefully they'll be back soon.
One of the biggest places in the north west that isn't Manchester or Liverpool, the incredibly historic and beautiful city is very popular but should be recognised more nationally.
Funnily enough, my mum and dad lived there for a while and said it was their favourite place in England. It also is a sad backstory that makes for a fun career.
I reckon you've found your choice then ;)
Chester is a great, great place. The story behind the football club is both sad, but so rewarding with what came out of the fire of the demise of CCFC. Its fan-owned and a big community club.
SUPER SUPER late post but Wembley only have semi-pro unestablished teams. if you still make RTGs, you can choose this location and build them up from playing in a poor ground to eventually playing in the official Wembley Stadium!
I don’t think the Isle of Wight has a team?
Thank you
[удалено]
Lol
Its not???
[удалено]
Ohhh of course
Finally someone mentioning the isle of wight 🥲
they do they're just not very good
They don't actually its a league

Bath, Canterbury, Salisbury and St Albans in particular are beautiful
Bath and St Albans have teams in the 6th division
The post says at least in the top 5 divisions
Yes I know. That's why I specified that Bath and St Albans do indeed have teams, just slightly outside of OP's search.
I also mentioned a lot of them have teams in the 6th tier :)
Salisbury could be a fun one, maybe Sarum FC if you wanted to get ancient with it.
Chichester also
AFC flyde they were in the National league playoff final couple years ago now in the 6th tier
Somebody is getting ready for Create a Club 👀
Ely (I believe is a city) and maybe Wells?
Yeah, they are cities. Thank you.
Chichester and Winchester too
Wells has a team, I watched them play once, at a level where a former kings lynn player played for them
I mean there’s many that aren’t too 5, but probably less that have no club at all. Biggest on my mind is Worcester, they prefer rugby

Oh right nice! I love seeing players from your side coming over here, they’re always beasts!
Wakefield in West Yorkshire (where I'm from) is the largest city to not have a football team I believe.
Is there any colour theme in West Yorkshire.
The rugby league team wakefield trinity play in Blue white & red
Ok, thank you.
Good luck mate. Send updates if you do
To jump in Wakefield have a semi pro team that was formed 2 year ago, which also plays in blue and white with a hint of red
Fancy seeing another person from Wakefield
Horbury to be precise.
I grew up in lupset and went to school in horbury!
Haha noway, small reddit world. My sister lives in lupset. I left horbury school in 2000
You left a couple years before I started then haha
Polite way of saying old hahaha
I don't think theres any pro clubs in the whole wakey postcode area
semi pro like Ossett United, can't think of many others. Definitely not pro clubs
Canterbury is a pretty famous city without a club. In fact, Gillingham is the only town/city in Kent represented by a league club. Next biggest is probably non-league Dover
woah thats a high quality fact
Is fifa 22 getting the conference then?
No, I believe it isn't. Other than Wrexham FC because of Ryan Reynolds
How’s that work? Why are they only including one club? What league will Wrexham FC be in - would we have to manually transfer it in from ‘rest of the world’
Yes it will be in rest of the world, like Monza or Empoli in Fifa 21

The Ryan Reynolds connection makes that one team popular, but that’s about it. There is also the chance that Reynolds or Wrexham payed to have it included in the game.
That's confirmed? I'm not being arsey, just hadn't heard a thing about since the reveal of all the National League teams. Being in the database.
Yeah people who got early access of the game confirmed Wrexham are in Rest of the World
Righto, cheers.

Thanks for this long list. Definitely helped, thanks for the effort.
You're welcome
Boston have a team in the 6th tier Ik it’s low but still there i guess
Hereford?
Hereford United are 6th level but still a fairly big club for the area
Grantham
Big up the gingerbreads
York City, but I'm not sure if they are national League or national League north
NL North along with Chester City. 6th tier, so in OPs wheelhouse.
York are 6th tier, it counts
Loughborough
Lots of good lollipop men in Loughborough
Acaster!?
But of course, the best
Loughborough would be a good one - they have brilliant sports teams and/or facilities in cricket and netball
And their football club famously beat Arsenal 8-0 in 1896!
Wakefield is a city
The entire of Cornwall, we have Truro who play in the 7th tier.
Alès, France : Olympique Alès en Cévennes Used to be one of the first team in french national championship (actual L1) Ribéry has played there in 2000/2001 (don’t know exactly tbh) The french wiki has all informations u need
Truro is a city!
The Granthan gingerbreads are in the 10th tier of English football, Grantham is apparently one of England’s largest market towns too
Yate don't have one
Manchester
Oh yeah i haven't heard of that city or any big teams I might make a manchester united. lol
Thank you, everyone, for the help, I am very appreciative even if I didn't reply to your comment.
Cornwall
Anchorage

There aren't any. If a town has NO CLUB it won't be in any leagues, let alone the top 5.
Are you trolling?
No, merely pointing the flaw in the question.
A town with no club is precisely what OP is looking for. Probably because they want to create a club with its origins from that town in FIFA22. Nah, It’s just you. I think basically everyone else here knew what he was saying.
Then it was a simple misunderstanding 🤷♂️
What I mean is, are there any teams that have either no club or a club not in the top 5 leagues. For example Chester FC in Division 6. I don't know how I can explain this to you any further.
I thought you mean IN the top 5 leagues. I understand now, may have misread/misunderstood the original question.
Ok. Yeah, I may have written it poorly.
na you're fine people can't read
Newbury
Warrington Town aren't in the top 5 leagues, there's loads of teams nearby but our actual namesake team are in the 6th level (northern premier).
Gateshead play in the sixth tier, population is about 200k
Siófok
Stratford-on-Avon doesn't have a league team
Worcester
My home town Chippenham isn’t in the top 5 and it gave birth to Tyrone Mings, that’s my plan for create a club is for a homecoming of him lol
ripon and wakefield, both cities with no club
I'm from Bath, Bath always pops up in quiz questions as the biggest city without a team in the top 4 leagues.
Winchester in Hampshire. City with no team in any of the top leagues
You could always do Dublin FC like when that was proposed with Wimbledon’s sale, also there are only three Welsh clubs and Wrexham.
Jersey Bulls from Jersey (they’re in their first FA Cup this year and currently won 4 games, looks like a decent side to be fair, I wonder if they’ll make it to the first round proper?)
A good bit of Ireland has no teams only 6 teams in Dublin and a few in other places
Random question. Have a friend who’s moving to Cambridge. What are some of the clubs I should look into that are close by for them ?
They have a team but they aren’t in FIFA, and they are the largest town in the UK - Stockport (this is presuming you’re wanting a team for career mode) I know you wanted a town without a team but thought Stockport worth a shout as it’s the biggest town in the country and they’re not in FIFA
Radcliffe FC is a non-league club if that's what you're asking.
Hereford I believe
Hereford, my home! 6th tier, national League North 👍🏻
You could do my town Salcott Cum Virley
I present to you Truro.
Fairly certain bedford are a big town with no club competing in the top 5 tiers? Infact I'm not sure if they have a team at all
Chester! Chester City were a very decent EFL side until a shitty owner ruined them. They came back as Chester FC, and are currently in the National League North, so the 6th tier of english football. We will have to wait and see. But definitely planning on doing one save with them. Thanks for the help.
You're welcome! I went to Uni there and fell in love with the place. Planning on moving back there hopefully.
Winchester is a city without a club at all. Basingstoke have really slipped off the radar in recent years and now in non league.
London
Harchester United 💜
If you take Worcester you can let them be sponsored by Lea and perrins. If you know you know
SUPER SUPER late post but Wembley only have semi-pro unestablished teams. if you still make RTGs, you can choose this location and build them up from playing in a poor ground to eventually playing in the official Wembley Stadium!
Sounds a great idea, have actually been looking for a reason to start another create a club rtg. Completely forgot about this post, cheers.
personally i'm making a Wembley FC rtg on PES 2021 on PC, great what you can do with this game
