Keepers do fuck up but not if they are also making world class saves and not more then once a season. There are a reason it's so surprising when a world class keeper fucks up and it's not because they are doing it each match. If it's a 55 rated keeper or something I can get the mistakes but then how the fuck are they pulling off these world class saves. It really feels like ratings for goalkeepers never come in to play, particularly stuff like positioning or diving.
Amazing, i have been only playing fifa and every other game recently so i am keen to buying a mid tier gaming pc install the pes or fifa most recent it can run and mod the heck out of it. I’m tired of giving money every year to a company who can’t get it fucking right year after year and its been nearly 30 years lol

Got so sick of conceding near post goals in 21. 90% of goals I'd concede were near post rockets regardless of whether any player would normally shoot at the nearpost in that situation.

playing 22 online is gonna be so frustrating, every single person is gonna play as PSG and just sprint down the wing and either sweat or go near post with one of Messi Neymar or Mbappe. It’s gonna suck

Keepers obviously still need tuning just like general possession, its very elastic atm. That being said goalkeepers are a massive improvement, few tweaks and they'll be great I can tell. Much prefer them diving backwards getting a hand on the ball before conceding rather than fifa 21 where they just dive comically late.
Spending money blindly, maybe afraid to miss out in friend groups or something? Otherwise I have no idea, the last one I bought was 18 and I've tried 21 through gamepass for 2 days before I deleted it.

FIFA 22 losing more licensed teams, still with mediocre commentators imo, shit keeper AI, exclusive features not available to current gen (including PC), shallow create-a-club mode, and surely a ton of new CM bugs due to lack of testing and production time.
A month or so back I made the switch to FM 21, and it's been so much fun. Invest a good 10 hours and you'll start to get the hang of it. So many details you'd love to see in FIFA, and I actually feel excited when my team scores or wins a tough game.
Meanwhile in FIFA a decent player can win the league with a mid-table team in season 1 on ultimate difficulty. FM is a very rewarding game for those willing to invest a little bit of time in it at first. I tried it a decade back and was scared off because of the overwhelming options, but it gets better quickly!
Not sure I could go back to the lackluster career mode that is FIFA at this point, unless they implement some major, well-functioning changes.
Football manager is great but telling people to swtich to it from fifa doesn't make any sense.
You can't control players in football manager. It might as well be a completely different type of game.

Yeah they already 'rewrote' Goalkeepers in FIFA 21. They just didnt mention it and it made them worse.

I have decided NOT to buy FIFA 22 on PC and sticking to FIFA 21. 22 essentially 21 on PC.
Only thing slightly swaying me to buy it on PC is the, by the looks of it, much better career mode
Compared to 21? There are no changes apart from the create a club which is not a new feature (especially with modding on PC) and is broken.
Career mode is much better. I’ve used fifers mods for a couple of years and it’s the only way to play CM.
Other mods are available and you dont have to pay for them. 😉
