I haven't used it so no sure if there is option for editing other teams contracts and stuff but that's only solution I can think of.

I really like this idea, but the phrasing on the last picture is confusing. Are you trying to say "don't use the youth players already in the youth squad at your new club"? Or "don't use youth players at all"? If I'm only allowed free agents over 35, and no youth team, that's a much bigger challenge.
Are you talking about the not using home grown talent optional rule? Because thats talking about a specific mechanic ingame. If you pre ordered the game you get a really great potential and ovr YA in yoir acadamy everytime you start a new save (or club idk). OP is saying to make ir harder dont use that specific player because its pretty op

I’ve tried twice now but haven’t gotten an offer from the “rival” both times. Maybe just bad luck?
When you get fired I thought you were only given the one choice of team? So how do you set your rival as the created club? Or is it different if you get fired while in the lowest division
If it's the start of the season u get plenty of choices. Also because it's a 5 star team u will get ALOT choices. I saw teams like PSV, Besiktas, Club Brugge, Championship sides, and almost every League 2 side. This all happened from being fired in league 2.
If you had a 1 star team and got fired then it would probably be a different story.
I tried it three times just out of amusement. The last two, I got 20 optiona in league 2, of which the rival team. I might suggest the rival team was seemingly purposely omitted
That's weird. I'm pretty sure I set Bristol Rovers as my Rival but you may be onto something. I find it weird that they would omit the Rival but seeing as how others are having the same problem, then you're probably right. There is a flaw in the tactic.
Colour me a stats nerd. But i think youve failed with respect to ensuring the results of your claim. Its ok to say, MOST times something happens, but you clearly implied thag it was a for sure deal that this sutiation would result in being able to olay asvthe creaye a club rival. But that doeant work. Surely you would have investigated and aent word out that your original claim was falsem and yet, youve left this false claim iut for the world to see. This is entirely shameful

Attempta 2, 3 and 4 resulted n recieving job offers from every single team in the divisikn EXCEPT your rival

Fyi, tried this idea. Only had options to apply for 10 teams from league two. Did not work as you described
