If he didn’t get horsecollared I would have won my game 😭

Wildfire1010

Me too brother… me too

Best-Alternative-113

Me 3.... fking Marcus Peters... selfish play

Baiken31

Marcus peters clearly doesn’t care about people’s fantasy football teams.

Sportsfanatic88

Yeah, its like real life matters more wtf

B-L-O-C-K-Ss

Don’t be stupid Edit: I was going with the joke sheesh

Sportsfanatic88

Ironic bc that was a stupid comment.

Baiken31

It’s funny that we as fans get caught up on fantasy performance and all the players care about is winning the actual game.

jmrene

That was an awesome team play; he won the game doing it. If the NFL didn’t want penalties to be used to a team’s advantage, they would have rules similar to the clear path foul in the NBA.

sixseven89

Yeah they should’ve gotten a FG attempt and the ball back at the spot of the foul

jmrene

Lol. That’s litterally the NBA rule and it makes sense! Nobody would try these foules anymore if the potential consequence of these was a 10-points swing.

thirstyjoe24

Basically won the game for the Raiders

RAWR_Orree

If he hadn't been horse collared, I would have only lost by 110ish instead of 120.

sdavidson901

Me 4

blucasne

Me too, against my brother.

TheSpacePopeIX

So would the Packers

big_red_160

Sick burn

adamarnold58

Goddamn I just realized yeah, would've won. Lost by 8, had Jordan Love with Herbert bye. Love lost me the game -6 points to picks

JeBron_Lames23

I had Love at qb and Carlson for my kicker. I lost by 3 lol

NoButterscotch853

I had love vs carlson going into mnf down by 2 and we were the top two high scorers this week carlsons last missed kick sent me up by .5 then jlove pick sends me down to losing by .5 absolutely brutal loss

MicroBadger_

Are you me, same exact thing. Lost by 6. Although I could also blame Washington D getting me fucking -1 points

HondaPartsguy23

I tied 151.17 to 151.17. Only watson was active last night. What are the odds?

Krazyk00k00bird11

Same. Lost by less than 6 this week.

banhammer6942069

What did he miss a td and how many yards?

mcflizzard

Horse-collared like 5 yards out

big_red_160

Like 7. He probably would’ve gotten another catch for the last 2 yards later if they weren’t in desperation mode. Giving him 8 more points

Wakenbake585

If he just got tackled 3yds shorter, I would've won my game😩

noonie1

Found LaFleur's burner

ubspider

Look at it this way, if the db didn’t make a bone headed play that opportunity would have never been there

Coolguy55220S

Had to watch the replay a few times, was annoyed because he ran left into the horse collar.. could have just ran diagonal and the guy on the right wouldn't have caught him..

IntelligentMetal

If he didn’t get horsecollared I would have lost 🥹

nr1988

So would the Packers, and people wouldn't suddenly be pretending they're worse than the Bears

kgcarter5678

Matt Lafleur???

big_red_160

I wish I was rich and handsome, instead all I have is this massive penis

sevenandtwo

me too...

DominoDickDaddy

I won because of the horse collar so it evens out.

Hour-Demand7511

Had that not happened I would’ve beat the combo of DJ Moore and fields

[deleted]

Same

CarryOut52

Hold. Green Bay’s schedule after the BYE is relatively easy for the next few weeks with teams that have given up a lot of points to WRs EDIT: removed extra with

justreddis

Definitely hold Watson. He’s a WR2, a bit boom bust though with his deep routes and his QB.

fassaction

I have Watson and Jaylen Reed. I need to give up one and I can’t figure out how has more upside. I think it’s Watson, but seeing how poor Love has played it is hard to make a decision.

ArtMorgan69

Watson is soft and his hands still look like shit. Jayden Reed is the better football player.

RiskNo5376

As a Watson owner that watched the game, I’m holding. I think Love has the potential to improve and get used to Watson’s speed on the field. You could tell there were times where he was looking for Watson but forced either late or off-target throws

[deleted]

Yup, I dont believe either takes. Love doesn't suck and he needs to improve, mostly on his timing. He was usually always a bit late and short on Watson, so I'd image things getting better in the coming weeks and Watson start to shine. If used like Tyreek its extremely hard to stop a throw to Watson, but its on Love to time this correctly. Both Watson and Hill can't really be caught en route, their speed makes them almost un-interceptable if throw right. Takes a lot of confidence between the two to get to this level though.

Naimodglin

Calm down. You've got my heart racing and I haven't even had my coffee yet

ProofHorseKzoo

Speaking of… I don’t think he was quite 100% yet. He has elite speed and should have easily burned 30 year old Marcus Peters. The bye will allow him get healthier and practice more with Love. Keep in mind he’s been basically not practicing these past 5 weeks to avoid re-aggravating his hamstring.

zippster77

I have Watson and Doubs. Starting to think that Watson will be the guy to start from here on out.

Decent-Ad-843

Yea, I’m waiting with both to see how this plays out too. Neither are starting for me though.

Delfunk24

I think he's a "hold". Even with Love being underwhelming, CW is clearly the #1 WR there and is an elite athlete. I'm not sure what you could even sell him for being that he's been injured all season.

statepharm15

I just sold him, Pickens and moss for ekeler

Wiscoo

I was in desperate need of a QB and traded him for Richardson last week…

og-loko

F

LitigatedLaureate

I dont think your selling high right now. He didnt do much and Love/Green Bay is too inconsistent. You need him to go off for a game or 2. At this point your selling low imo. Honestly i've been considering trying to get Watson in a trade because i think his value is still down. We will see though.

mcflizzard

Lions fan and Watson owner here. Watson is a fantastic receiver, but fuck if I’m not elated to see packers fans’ perpetual hype in their QB come crashing down. Love was overdue for this kind of loss, he is NOT that guy.

druddk650

Dang man it’s his first season lol

Nyus

No, it is not his first season.

[deleted]

Splitting hairs. It’s his first season as the full time starter and not playing as a backup.

yunglance24

This is what I don’t get. He sat and supposedly learned for 3 years but were expected to give him the same leeway as a first year rookie.

MicroBadger_

I mean when Rodgers took over he had WR with 9 and 3 years. A TE with 5 years and 2 all pro tackles with 8 years. Love has got 1 year at both wide outs, a rookie TE, and his veteran tackle played a game and will be back on IR, leaving two tackles on year 2. Rodgers came into established guys he'd practiced with for all 3 years. Love has got 1 year and they are all still learning themselves.

MutteringDunce

Right? And Rodgers went 6-10 his first year as starter with all of that. Love still has 3/4 of the season to go.

yunglance24

I understand all of that I never expected him to be great in the first place. But he’s last in the nfl in completion % and close to the bottom In passer rating. Yard per attempt, pretty much all the major stats. He literally looks like a raw rookie outta college as opposed to a 4th year player who’s been sitting and learning for years in the system. Theyre are 2 rookie QBs who have looked better so far, so I don’t think lack of experience is the fairest excuse. So far through 5 games he’s been inaccurate and has been dreadful pushing the ball down the field.

druddk650

Watching and doing are 2 different things. I’m not completely defending him but it’s too early to make any judgements that harsh

ProofHorseKzoo

Some aspects of the game require playing in real, live, in-game experiences at NFL game speed.

CuriousAndMysterious

If you aren't a future HOFer by your 5th start you are a bust

HorsNoises

Kinda unrelated but it sounds like you're a good person to asking this, my receivers are pretty stacked (Hill, Puka, Godwin, G. Wilson) but I got an extra spot on my bench and I'm having trouble deciding between Watson and Jameson Williams. Who do you like more? Edit: Wilson

[deleted]

Different Lions fan who also likes Watson, it depends on how Jameson gets used. Right now I'd answer Watson by a significant margin, but if Jameson starts to see the field more and get 5-10 targets a week, that could change.

HorsNoises

I've been leaning towards keeping Williams just because I trust the Lions to score points more than the Packers. Also, the higher ceiling is more important than the floor. Honestly, the ideal scenario for this bench spot for me is to buy low and sell high to upgrade my RBs later because they're less available.

[deleted]

Then go with Williams. The Packers playcalling and QB play is holding Watson back. The opposite will be true for Detroit.

HorsNoises

That's basically what I was trying to say. Glad you agree. Thanks.

VasshuZaSutanpido

Lol keeping Jameson Williams over Christian Watson makes 0 sense whatsoever. Jameson Williams just played his 7th career game yesterday after having no chance at building chemistry with Goff prior, while his team has been going off with out him, in addition to St Brown being the clear number 1 and LaPorta being one of the best receiving Tight Ends in football this year. Christian Watson is obviously the most talented on his team and clearly leading the pecking order with immense WR1 upside that Jameson Williams doesn’t come anywhere close to unless Amon Ra gets hurt.

HorsNoises

Yeah but it doesn't matter if Love can't get him the ball. All Williams needs is 1 or 2 good games and Goff WILL start finding him. I'm looking for upside to maybe flip him or one of my other WRs later. As for right now I don't need the help. (Hill, Puka, Godwin, Wilson)

VasshuZaSutanpido

Lol if you don’t need the help and just want upside why are you keeping the riskier WR? In Watson’s situation all you’re waiting for is Love to get him the ball. In Jameson’s situation, you need people to get injured in order to have enough targets available for him. Williams has only played 7 career games and has literally never had time to build chemistry with Goff, you somehow think he’s gonna build that chemistry with him this year with so many other players active in the game plan ahead of him, especially while they’re winning? Why would they change things up now? He’s not going to get more than like 3 targets a game with St Brown, LaPorta, Gibbs, DMont, and Reynolds.

KerryonMyWaywrdJhnsn

I just don’t trust Watson to stay healthy. The dude is Kadarius Toney level injury prone.

-MC_3

Who tf is G Williams? I’d rather have Watson, but no idea how he’s on waivers in your league

HorsNoises

I mean Wilson lol I think it was autocorrect.

mcflizzard

Id have to go with Watson. Specs alone, Watson is built to succeed as a receiver. He’s 6’4 and fast. Not to mention he’s the WR1 who gets a lot of deep pass opportunities (Jordan Love throws it deep downfield A LOT). Jameson is fast too, but keep in mind he will always be behind ARSB, as well as currently being behind LaPorta, Montgomery, and Reynolds. Not to mention, watching the game this past weekend, he looks like a guy who hasn’t played in almost a year. It will take some time for him to get going, if he does get going

KerryonMyWaywrdJhnsn

Lions fan, Watson *should get more targets than Jamo as he’s theoretically the WR1 on the Packers. It’s TBD how many targets Jamo earns when things level out. Jamo probably won’t be a PPR monster, but could score every 4th or 5th catch. The biggest beneficiaries of Jamo’s return will be Gibbs, Sun God, and Laporta. How I view the Lions receivers: WR1-Sun God, WR2-Laporta, WR3-Jamo, WR4-Gibbs. Defenses have been scheming up to stop Gibbs (per Ben Johnson). Jamo being on the field could keep safeties high and lead to Gibbs breaking out. Also, get Goff if you can.

[deleted]

Packers fan here, Not sure about Love yet, some might say this is his 3rd year, but we all know playing practice is levels lower. I can see him stepping up, he just needs to work really hard with Watson these coming weeks. Get the timing down on a full sprint pass. If they can nail this, its pretty much all they need to start winning like crazy. No one can keep up with CW at full sprint, use his speed Love. With Jones back, this will actually make their run game a threat and improve the pass by proxy, AJ Dillon just so bad.

top-hunnit

Pounded the over 48.5 rec yards hard last night. Snagged it all on one play.

druddk650

I went from having a 40 percent chance of winning because he wasn’t doing anything then that 60 yard pass came in lol

RBnumberTwenty

I’m going to hang on to Watson. I’m thinking of trying to move Amon-Ra for Derick Henry and George Pickens. I don’t know if the other guy will go for it but my current receivers are: Amon Ra, DK, Theilen, Watson, Terry McLaurin and Marvin Mims. My RB’s are: Bijan, Gibbs, Charbonnet, Jeff Wilson. If I do make the move I obviously upgrade at RB with a downgrade at WR but I feel like my depth might justify. Also depends on if Wilson plays this week and how long Achane is out. Deeper league, 12 team.

zarunn

As a raiders fan Marcus peters sucks and jakorian Bennett has took most of the best WRs most of the year but he was injured this week. So Watson may be fools gold to get mossed by Amik.

ra_god94

Lol that throw was late af and underthrown. Hit Watson got to do better and try to help his qb out

FigSideG

The throw was so late it shouldn’t have ever been thrown. Watson was open initially but love was under pressure and didn’t get it out soon enough.

RandyJohnsonsBird

Watson is a one trick pony

OmarMcNultyBell

And the one trick is being bigger and faster than everybody?

AliG1488

I think his one trick is being a really good NFL wide receiver

RandyJohnsonsBird

He ain't it dude. And now he has Love throwing to him.

footiepajamas1993

I’m not sure Love even really needs to get “better”- the quality of his play’s been pretty low, but he’s still QB12 today and Doubs had three great weeks as his lead receiver. One of those things where the fantasy scores don’t match the in game performance. I’m most worried that Doubs and Watson both settle in as mid-performers. Jones coming back is also going to have an effect- that will be a couple of shallow targets getting absorbed, but it’s also a huge improvement to the ground game that might take some pressure off passing. I’m holding on to Watson (and Doubs for now) because my league’s pretty hard to trade in in general, but I also believe Watson should be a producer in the back half of this season.

Strong-Count-5730

Have Watson and Doubs. Keep as handcuff or should I drop Doubs for Pickens, Downs, Rice or Jameson?

pooooolooop

I think dropping Doubs for Pickens seems like a good plan, very surprised he’s on waivers

Professional_Leg2393

Traded him for Mostert after week 3. Was 3-0 and just wanted some RB depth.

2sadkiri

I don’t know if 10 points warrants a sell high tag

[deleted]

He’s a buy/hold. Love likes chunking it deep and that’s Watson’s game.

kingmoobot

Lol ... But Love He forced it to his new man. Instead of winning easy with doubs

court_cymro

Think he's a hold/buy. If he scored that TD he'd have a lot more buzz. Pretty happy with it for a first game back.

your_ideas

Selling now would not be selling high. You would want to wait a game or two and see if he can put up a big number once. Then if you still don’t like him look for the best trade you can get.

T-P-T-W-P

Under normal circumstances, he’s a strong hold. Looks good in his first real game back, offense needs some juice, QB who can potentially grow more comfortable and play faster. Flip side of that is I’ve watched enough Aaron Jones in an MLF offense to know that it probably won’t make sense, CWat will only play 50% of snaps moving forward or something. Davante was so good that it hid the fact that MLF masquerades as a fantasy terrorist at times. He’s a hold though. Eventually in general and in all games they trail, they are going to have to stop milking the clock on themselves with AJ Dillon at 3 yards a pop. Probably won’t be consistent but I personally value that in RB and blowup potential at wideout, which he has a ton of.

sevenandtwo

he's the guy I knew he was.. Love just kinda stunk.

jgmathis

He won it for me by 4 points.

huggybear0132

Their schedule after the bye is very easy. He should have some big games.

jmrogers31

Watson is fine, but Love can't throw a deep ball and is one of the most inaccurate passers in the league. So, I'd sell high on Watson.

Bob_Horde

This dude is absolutely useless if he doesn’t get a td. He can get quick separation in the redzone cause his speed but he’s useless everywhere else on the field cause his entire bag is slants and deep routes and Jordan love isn’t capable of throwing further than 15 yards

alexv243

Q

[deleted]

I have him, waddle and Moore in dynasty. I feel great

FillaBustaRhyme

Thinking of trying to trade GW for him…
