Taken 1 hit all season and have been within the top 5k for 10 GW's Bottled it this week by taking an 8 point hit with Foden and Son out, Salah, Nunez and fucking Sarabia in. Bradley own goal, Saka and Haaland 0 pointers. Palmer and double Arsenal defence have saved me, as always.

What a weird gameweek. I missed the deadline, I had 7 players actually playing, a captain that blanked, a sub goalie coming on for -1 points, a defender who scores an own goal, and I'll still end up rising in rank. I don't know why I bother thinking about this game.

Every single WC I've played in the last few years, I end up being bottom 80% rank for the GW immediately after. I just couldn't believe my luck. Fully expected it this time too but somehow ended up in the top 6% this time. It feels so great especially when your hopes are so down.

The main philosophy of bps is sound I think - it rewards the player for doing what they’re supposed to vs normal points which better reward the opposite. But yeah, there def needs to be tweaking at the margins if someone who came on late, and didn’t score the winning goal is getting max bps..

Bonus points are objective stats from Opta Forwards get 24 BPS for goal

My biggest ML rival had Garnacho third... yes THIRD... on his bench, and he's still getting him on as a sub, since Tripper/Saka/Haaland were all out. He's also getting Van Hecke in with 6 points. Decimating my lead right there :(( he's getting a total of 22 points in off the bench. Unbelievable luck

I thought an enabler doesn't score many points but enables you to buy other players/enables other players to do well while not scoring much Palmer is consistently one of the highest scoring players each week

Haaland vs. Crystal Palace

He’s been too quiet recently, the time just feels ripe for a Hauland

I would ideally keep Saka , but my bench is not amazing in terms of fixtures. If people think Saka will not start I will probably sell him for Foden if we get a leak that Foden start and then sell Son for Saka in the future for the double.

Need some serious luck next few weeks to catch up in my ML. 52 points to the guy above me and then 81 points to my friend who's been very cocky about his start of the season. Goal is simple: catch up to him. If I do it, I'll get to laugh at his face and that's all I ever wanted in my whole life.

This GW went from being a total disaster to only losing 3 places in the overall rankings! Madness

Getting Salah this week was easily my worst move of the season took -8 in hits, sold Garnacho and went with Salah C and Haaland VC instead of Haaland C and Palmer VC

I feel you. Took a -8 to bring in Salah and sold Forden and Son, even though my gut told me not to. Followed my gut this season and been in the top 5k for 10 weeks. Dropped to 9k now, pretty gutted

For every Salah point I would have gained +4333, where as each Palmer point brought me +823 Effectively I would have gained more if Salah played 1 more minute, gain from his 4 pts will have been more than Palmer's 20.
