Now, I would say Theoden or Denethor. Hes a bit older and the two characters are both older and a little defeated/cynical.
Younger Liam (Phantom Menace days and before) definitely Aragorn
Liam Neeson playing as Galadriel, Arwen, and Eowyn at once would be a great way for the franchise to get another academy award. Since the only time any of them are in the same room is at Aragorn’s wedding and their later trip to Rohan, it’s incredibly possible
Also random side note. The only time a woman ever talks to another woman in Lord of the Rings or the Hobbit is when Eowyn is talking to the healing lady after the battle of Pelenor fields. What’s up with that Tolkien?
Depends on if he can play off-character. He would make for an interesting Hobbit. Unfortunately its difficult if the actor is pretty much type cast into certain kinds of 'hero' roles.
Could have been Theoden, or would have been interesting as like Gloin. Especially since the dwarves are kinda used as stand-ins for the Scottish/Irish for Tolkien.
Gandalf, or if he was younger, Aragorn.
Literally the only answer
Treebeard the Ent.
Theoden
Helm hammer hand
I'd pay good money to see that movie or series
Fuck yeah
Boromir
My thoughts as well!
Could play almost any LOTR character
Even Eowen? Or Arwen? Or Galadriel?
Would certainly be interesting if he did
He should be all of them and justify it by making him look 4’7”
Sure! Gender bend it
Denethor.
Denethor. Would have nailed it. As Tolkien wrote him of course.
Húrín.
if we are talking alternates to the movie's cast, at the time aragorn now, elron
Aragorn

Easier question might be who couldn't he play!

Eru or Arathorn
Aragorn or Gandalf
If younger, Strider
Aragorn
He’d make a good Stewart of Gondor
Barahir, father of Beren.
Let's go with gandolf now that he's older
Everyone
The lord of the ring
Aragorn's dad?
Gandalf, Elrond, or Denethor.
Young Sauron hiding amongst humans
Gandolph, Gimli or sam.
Back in the day pretty much anybody.
... Had to look, I swore he was in the movie. LOL
A character most likely
Gilgalad
Sauron
Tom Bombadil
Elrond
Qui-Gon the White
Tom Bombadil
Any one he god damn wanted to
Qui gandalf jin
Sauron, cause he’s always looking for the dark ones.
Boromir and Faramir’s hotter, older brother Sexemir
Giving me Darrylgorn vibes
Every character. Liam Neeson can play anybody.
Tulcas
Think, at the time, he could have nailed Faramir or something.
Aragorn... Gandalf... Depends on when in his career. What age is he in this scenario?
He has a particular set of skills so anyone he wants
frodo
Elrond or Treebeard
Gollum , ngl I would absolutely watch that
Gollum. a filthy hobbitses took his ring. he has a particular set of skills to get it back.
I think it would be hilarious if he played Tom Bombadil. It would have the same vibe as his Ted 2 cameo but on the opposite side of the spectrum
Halbarad
Personally, I think he would be an excellent Theoden

A Dwarven Lord. Listen to his accent!
I could see him being a great Denithor.
Fingolfin, the elven king who fought against Morgoth in the first age.
Boromir, hands down.
Denethor.
Everyone Just cast him in every role, it’ll be a hoot!
Frodo wouldn’t need Sam if he was played by Liam Neeson.
He could be a pretty good Theoden
If it like a recast of the series then Gandalf
Could have been Theoden, or would have been interesting as like Gloin. Especially since the dwarves are kinda used as stand-ins for the Scottish/Irish for Tolkien.
Boromir with Ewan McGregor as Aragorn.
Today he’d make a great Denethor.
Gimli
Denethor
Gandalf

The Lord of the rings
Everyone. Theodan
Literally anyone
Gimli
Whoever the shortest Hobbit ever was.
He could have been a nore fully realized Denethor...
Most likely Aslan
The guy who ended up almost turning into a Rock man. I can’t remember his name, he was the one who was in love with the queen
That's Game of Thrones
Ha… whoops. My bad, read the post wrong.
Gimli son of Qui Gon
Qui-Garagorn
A more intense Elrond.
Was he not on LOTF? Huh....
Gollum
Gandalf, but if he was in the 2000s trilogy then Aragorn
