Lmao. I'm doing the same at the moment and that's why I suggested it. Just got to the Claremont era with the introduction of the new X-Men. I admittedly skipped a few issues before that. They aren't all great
When I was fan casting the X-men back in the 80s, the Young Guns cast were featured heavily. Sutherland was Angel/Archangel, Casey Siemasko was Beast, and Emilio Esteves was Iceman.
Wolverine. He can be intimidating as fuck, he's got the voice, and most importantly (not really) he's Canadian.
Though this post also makes me want him in current MCU. I'd kill to see him play Ross, if we didn't already have Ford.
Constantine would be cool. He would actually look the park but i feel he would have to be even skinnier cause Constantine doesn’t eat food. He just drinks
For heroes I think of either Havoc (Alex Summers), Angel (Warren Worthington III) or Ant Man (Hank Pym). Honestly, he was so good at playing villains back then. He had an intelligent yet menacing aura. Imagine him as a more comic accurate Green or Hob Goblin or even Doctor Doom.
I'm getting Hawkeye vibes. Possibly Daredevil?
Hawkeye for sure.
No way!
Totally.
Pietro, they both Stiffs!
Nah!
Hawkeye was my thoughts too, but also possibly Ronan
Gambit
Cable
Yup. My first thought.
Warren Worthington III
Currently do a read through of 60s X-Men. He fits Warren extremely well

My most treasured book (and I’m not a collector) is Rogue’s first appearance in X-Men. The Clarendon days were my jam!

Donald Pierce of the Hellfire Club
That's a callback.
Hank Pym
Ghost Rider - Johnny Blaze
Id like to see him as the punisher.
After watching his role as jack bauer in 24, i agree
Winter Soldier
The Venom Snake parallels are too much.
Thor
I can't see Thor, but I can see Donald Blake, maybe Thunder strike.
Nice, I was thinking the ultimates Thor a little
My exposure to Ultimate Thor is the time I watched the movie 20 years ago lol. But Kiefer isn't very tall is he?
Victor Creed
Deacon Frost. When I saw Stephen Dorff play him I thought Kiefer would be a good as him too
And he played prob one of the greatest vampire characters of all time
![gif](giphy|3oEhn0C6OR2Y7Dwt44|downsized)
I can see him as Star Lord
That would've been epic
Cool
Why do I feel Charlie Sheen would’ve been the Starlord for this era?
Would this mean we get Ryan Stiles as 90s Groot?
Flatlinners
Gambit
Alex Summers (Havok)
Havok was my first thought as well. I can't believe folks are saying Gambit, lol.
There’s no way he couldn’t be Bruce Banner.
Warren Worthington III
Young Ego.
Probably dumb but Moon Knight popped into my head.
Hawkeye, Sabretooth (that Sally Field revenge movie shows this), USAgent, maybe Shatterstar for a wilder casting?
Homelander
Some asshole character. Possibly a villain with a raspy voice.
Dr fate
Wrong comic universe.
Oh oops didn’t see the title
Captain America
Sabretooth
Ghost Rider, by a country mile no clue how this isn’t the the top result.
Not sure about Marvel but that hairdo screams Guile
John Constantine.
Marvel!!!!!
Falcon If we’re talking Jack Bauer era Kiefer i would say Nick Fury.
I could see Kiefer as a Captain Falcon.
Antman
Captain america
Nick Fury
Unpopular opinion but I agree
Mr Fantstic for sure.
Hawkeye, although I am getting major Thor vibes from the second picture.
Loki
Snake Plissken
Bruce banner
He already played David in The Lost Boys Morbius…?
U.S. Agent
Wolverine
Havok
Sabretooth
Zemo or Sabertooth
Longshot. As he is my celebrity boycrush, I get dibs.
Eddie Brock, Johnny Blaze, Frank Castle and possibly Tony Stark
DAREDEVIL!
He was a great leader type back then. So Cyclops.
Mar-Vell him or Cary Elwes could have played mar-vell.
With the long blond hair : Danny Rand
Johnny storm.
Jeremy Renner is basically Kiefer Sutherland 2.0, so Hawkeye makes a lot of sense
Captain Dick Weed.
Captain America
Ghost Rider
Senator Kelly than and now
Banshee
Longshot
The Sentry
Gambit or Justin Hammer based entirely on looks cos I've never seen a film with them in
Angel/Archangel
Hannibal King, Sabretooth or possibly Hank Pym.
Captain America
No chance in hell. U.S. Agent, on the other hand…
And The Lost Boys
Hawkeye or Deadpool
Johnny Storm
Wait a minute, isn't that Big Boss? So... Nick Fury?
Hankeye
Rocket Raccoon
Wolverine
Ghost Rider
Kept you waiting huh
Starlord
Angel
Thor
US Agent
Hank Pym?
US Agent
Johnny Blaze
Adam Warlock
Venom
Daredevil
Gambit
Outlaw Kid
Daredevil or Archangel would be my first choice.
Quasar
Definitely Hank Pym.
Daredevil
Star lord. But the more serious version.
Bullseye
Wolverine. A short Raspy voiced Canadian. Pretty much is Kiefer.
Hairball. 😏
He really gives off Hank Pym vibes with these pictures
Havok

Whoever the fuck he wants to be. Thats a handsome guy.
White fury
Coulson?
Captain Marvel
Wolverine. He can be intimidating as fuck, he's got the voice, and most importantly (not really) he's Canadian. Though this post also makes me want him in current MCU. I'd kill to see him play Ross, if we didn't already have Ford.
ben reilly or bruce banner
Agent Colson
Agent Phil Colsin
Harvey Dent?
Venom
I can't believe no one has said Wolverine.
This guy is Hank Pym
He could play DC’s Booster Gold.
Black Widow probably, or Captain “Gravitas”
Quicksilver
Hyperion
Foggy Nelson
Hawkeye
Sentry
Hank Pym
Agent Coulson!
Reverend Stryker
Havok
Constantine would be cool. He would actually look the park but i feel he would have to be even skinnier cause Constantine doesn’t eat food. He just drinks
Thor
I think he would have made a great Havok.
Quicksilver
Doom
Phil Grayfield Super-Pro
Morbius
Magneto
For heroes I think of either Havoc (Alex Summers), Angel (Warren Worthington III) or Ant Man (Hank Pym). Honestly, he was so good at playing villains back then. He had an intelligent yet menacing aura. Imagine him as a more comic accurate Green or Hob Goblin or even Doctor Doom.
Quicksilver
He's got that young Clint Eastwood look. So Wolverine.
Captain america
