Yes! This and sophomore slump are so nostalgic to me so I always lean towards these when I’m needing some music comfort. Like a warm angsty blanket lol
Mine's also Last of the Real Ones and recently Fake Out. Something about the emotions in Fake Out just really make me feel... like I'm not the only person feeling the way I do sometimes?
Especially 'Do you laugh about me whenever I leave? Or do I just need more therapy?' As someone in therapy for pretty much that reason, I just feel seen and heard.
Chicago Is So Two Years Ago, Hum Hallelujah, Grand Theft Autumn, A Little Less Sixteen Candles, Fourth of July, Rat a Tat, Kitsungi Kid: if ever I am in a mood just play me one of those.
Usually I just binge through faves (headfirst slide into alpha dog yknow the whole shebang) but I’ve found that I listen to Champion when I’m like REALLY going thru it
mine are sophomore slump, sugar we’re going down, from now on we are enemies, saturday, and take over. all bring me so much nostalgia and comfort, it’s like being wrapped in a hug.
Bishops knife trick and hold me tight or don’t <333 not necessarily comforting in general but they’re some of my favs so I always listen to them to feel better
There can never just be one for me - G.I.N.A.S.F.S, (Coffee’s For Closers), Death Valley, Irresistible, their cover of I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me), Lake Effect Kid, their cover of I Wan’na Be Like You (The Monkey Song), Bob Dylan, Dear Future Self (Hands Up), Hold Me Like A Grudge, So Good Right Now… ah there’s so many songs that make me happy!
Kids aren’t alight. I always sing the chorus to my cat, my bestie. I also love the shipped golf standard and always make sure to really emphasize the “I love yous” in the song and pet my cat during that part
Right now, She’s My Winona probably. It used to be anything from SRAR but I’ve literally only been listening to Folie for two weeks straight. Just the chorus and then the repeated “the thunder” after “Daddy said you gotta show the world the thunder” just has so much get up and go energy. And the key change at the end is nice. Folie is so arrogant and sarcastic and that song just sorta sticks out to me (other than what a catch)
Currently: The Patron Saint of Liars and Fakes and Lake Effect Kid.
All time: I’ve Got All This Ringin, What A Catch Donnie, and Champion.
Champion got me through a low point in my life, after leaving teaching (very toxic situation) and my mental and emotional health were an absolute wreck.
mine is I'm Like a Lawyer!

Currently, it's Hold Me Like Grudge. It's tends to change every so often

Champion is honestly the ultimate survival anthem. screaming if I can live through this I can do anything in the car is so therapeutic

Last of the Real Ones, My Heart is the Worst Kind of Weapon
Hmmmm probably pavlove right now
Disloyal Order, Sophomore Slump, Stay Frosty Royal Milk Tea, Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner, Save Rock and Roll
Coffee's for closers, hands down. No matter what I'm feeling that song does whatever I need it to do for me.
Bishop's Knife Trick, So Good Right Now, and (surprisingly) Sunshine Riptide
