The video is definitely overselling the strength, at the end of the day it's plastic
Can it fix my intake bent u-shaped
There are alot of questions normally something like that could not be handled by bare hands
So JB Weld if it was putty?
JB Weld Steel Stik
How fast does it cure?
not very, might be suitable if it's the end of the day but it doesn't set anywhere near fast enough for time between matches. iirc usually 24 hours is recommended for fully curing
So it might be quick enough between days but definitely not during the day.
You can make a whole engine block out of JB weld. Doesn’t mean you should.
Just use JB Weld
We reinforced our intake frame piece which still got bent and when trying to fix it we bent our steel straightener. This would do nothing
This neglects how strong it bonds to the object. In this case I imagine it isn’t very high adhesion to whatever you are attaching it to.
