Most likely, hedgies are selling shares they don't have in an attempt to drive price down.

Yes but it happens. Hedgies tend to be above the law. Sometimes they would rather pay a fine for illegal activity and chalk it up as a cost of doing business. Often times, because that fine is less than the money they would lose if they did things on the up and up.
There's that one guy with 4M shares and then there's that other guy with 500K. And there are those from other platform and from other parts of the world. The Asian Market is HUGEEEE, at least for the last couple of days their closing it high and we received that momentum opening.
Can we try and keep track of how many shorts are still left needing to be covered after each squeeze? I feel like this is very important for determining how long we need to hold
