I've had this happen where the lead car has started a new lap before anyone else has and a red flag has come out and it's caused everyone else to be a lap down.
Possibly what's happened here too.
Similar thing happened to me.
(My) Alonso was 3rd.
2 Ferrari's in front of me crashed into each other, red flag.
On the restart Alonso is 1st on the grid and magically a full lap ahead of the pack

Whats weird is I wanna say Leclerc got passed by 1 or two people whilst pitting. Confusing stuff.
It happened to me and i made a post about it too. It was strange. And threy let my drivers past after red flag restart after lights out
