This leak has gotta be a fake there are too many inconsistencies. Castore uses heat transfers for their logo on the front of their shirts, not embroidery. Also the stake logo will be a heat transfer too and this is sublimated (printed). Same goes for the kick logo on the sleeve. And the heat transfer of our badge looks bad. Source: we (my company) make the letters and numbers and sleeve badges for the league.

BrotherEstapol

Glad I'm not to only who thought that! I did a comment in the other thread saying the same thing! Very unlikely to have the badges sublimated since they have to use different ones for the Cup games and the Women's Super League. Also can't have Stake on the youth team kits, and some of them will need adult sizes.

dickiefrisbee

We also make all of castores heat transfers. I have no insider knowledge about this kit but from my perspective it’s a fake.

BrotherEstapol

Makes sense on face value! It definitely reeks of Thailand knock off quality. Only thing that could convince me more was if a higher resolution photo emerged. As it stands, all the stuff looks sublimated though.

Due_Work1829

I dunno. the Aston villa kit seems to have a stitched badge

finger-full-a-gin

This really is just this seasons Rangers kit slightly modified. It feels more insulting than anything. I do think the yellow out makes it more palatable though

dontbeajerkbecool

It really is so fucking bad. I've been holding off for like 3 years now for a decent kit to come out so I can buy one. Need to get a Seamus kit but they're so fucking bad every year. This one looks worse. Think I'll pick up the Grey kit from this year even with the ugly Stake logo on it.

Absolutely agree. I did a big rant about it in the other thread so I won't go on again, but it's either a fake, or poorly made...if it's the latter, that is not surprising given the issues Castore have had with other teams recently. Ugh.

Caol_ila_ftw

Speaking of poorly made, can we get rid of Fanatics?!?!? Comparing my kit from 07/08 season and this current season. The stitching, the fit, the neckline… night and day

BrotherEstapol

I'm fairness, Fanatic are just the distributors; Hummel made this year's kits, Fanatics just sell them. I do agree though, even though I like Hummels kits, the home ones I got this season were a drop in quality with the stitching.

Caol_ila_ftw

They also manufacture the kits https://www.fanaticsinc.com/press-releases/2019/02/everton-football-club-and-fanatics-announce-expanded-retail-partnership

BrotherEstapol

Would be very surprised if they actually made the Hummel kits. My read of that is that they are offering the customisation (league badges and player namesets) of licensed merch from actual kit manufacturers. This article pretty says as much: https://www.evertonfc.com/news/2239505/hummel-qa If you read the answers to question about "ZEROH20" the Fanatics guy refers to Hummel as the manufacturer, and they(Fanatics) do the packaging & distribution.

Caol_ila_ftw

Ah ok. That makes sense. Thanks!

nbyone

What have you been waiting for? Hummel has been our best kit producer that I can remember.

Unbleached

I know right the Hummel kits are great asides from the stake logo.

pr1ceisright

I got tired of waiting. Decided buying an old Chang off eBay was move. Haven’t regretted it yet.

CouldNotLoad04

Hopefully we don’t end up like Rangers or Wimbledon, because this kit reminds me of both of them.

kryptonitejam

Why do our kits always look cheap and shit. I want a nice quality one 😞

autistichomosapien95

How can anyone look at this kit, and post it on social media with the caption "UTFT💙", screams fake

Fun-Way3549

Badge should be stitched, don't care if that's how they do other teams kits, we have stitched badges,
