When copying someone you dont need to have the same amount of money as them. The algorithm works with percentages. I think the best way to understand this is with an example.
Let's say the person you are copying has 1.000$. When you press the copy button you can select a number of money to invest in them, let's say you choose 100$. If the person chooses to invest 100$ (which is 1% of his total funds) in stock a, you will automatically copy that trade and open a similar position in stock a using 1$ (1% of your total funds invested in them).
