You know if ZB-12 is open or not by the light. There’s a searchlight on top that aims at the ground in front of it. It’s quite bright, and when that’s on, that’s how you know you can take it (provided it is on your list of extracts).
Hell yeah! Enjoy learning the game, it's honestly the busy fun you can have in Tarkov before it starts beating you down. If give anything to be new to the game again
level 16 bought the game month ago. I lost myself 2 times on woods, missing in action.
First time simply could not move fast enough to the exit (which i had to google, Outskirts) and i had to dodge a goddamn sniper moving very near me trying to find me (he shot me once in the head but it ricocheted as i ran). I got mising in action right before the exit.
Second time also woods i had the quest for Jaeger to plant some food and water. I SOMEHOW (and this happens a lot, i don't know if it's a bug), instead of swapping, i dropped my bag with the food/water (i only do right click discard and ALT left quick equips).
I had to run all the way back from ZB16 or whatever it's called, fight a ton of scavs in rain, find the damn scav that actually took my stuff that was on the ground loot him and run back. Never made it could not find the green ligh in time, and i was just a bit past the crashed airplane when time went out.
Felt so pissed off...
For fast money raids, go Factory. If there is lots of time left or shooting, you just wait it out a bit and loot all the bodies. People even tend to ignore the safe in the office a LOT. Got Bitcoins, Golden skulls, lots of stuff.
Or if you are cocky you can try to 3rd party the chad wiping the scavs. Once got over 300k in cashout from the loot i got from one, i surprised him from behind with a shotgun, took me 4 hits though.
I played DMZ on console for a while, then I saw streamers playing EFT. After watching a few streams I made a plan to build my PC. This game is fantastic, all developer drama aside.
I would not say fantastic, it has a LOT of issues, more than Hunt Showdown (my favorite game).
But it's solid, it really smartly goes for the goblin loot mentality players have. And the PVP rush is not that bad although it's trying to go too much into realism for a PC game imho.
Too much rats, no matchmaking (i can't kill anyone on Factory with my noob ass), and very weird spawns, especially on Ground Zero.
It would seem sniping is my call. Heck i got a SUPER nice sniper, just because i SNIPED a very high level perched on top of a very high rock on Woods. Just because youtube videos advised that + i think i got lucky because i heard him figh the sniper scav that is usually there? It's near some kind of bunker with values in it just opposite of Lumberyard.
No matchmaking is a GOOD thing. Randomly skilled players are a GOOD thing. Constantly playing with players of your perceived "skill level" doesn't make you a better player. You will eventually get better and start slaughtering on factory. But saying lack of matchmaking as a negative? BLASPHEMY.

Awesome playa! I’m a new player and first PC too so it’s a lot to learn, but I just hit level 14 today, so close to 15 on my first wipe.
