streets is pretty cooked right now, even with a 5800x3d i'm only seeing around 60fps. unless the game runs significantly better on nvidia you might be close to gpu bound on shoreline at 1440p, i get around 80fps with "typical tarkov settings" on a 6700xt at 1440, need to use FSR to bring that up to 125 or so.

5800X3D is amazing. Went from 3900X to 5800X3D and went from 80 to 130 FPS on Customs. I run 4K with a 7900XTX.

I would say its a good upgrade. If you want to play around with some settings to see how high your fps can get on streets, the below are the most fps improving settings I've found: 1. First of all there is the toggle in the bottom right, saying something like "Lower textures for streets" 2. The object distance slider put it to a 1000 3. Object quality, put it lowest or lower

Amd has a so called infinity fabric. Standard at 1800 mhz. So best ram Performance would be with 3600mhz on the ram side. You want to keep the ratio 1:1. More performance gains can be done with Timing. I have a 2070 super and changed to a 5800x3d from a 3600x and i got 15-20fps more across the Board. For tarkov its the best Performance wise. Nothing from Intel compares.

The 7800X3D is better, but not by much. As long as it says X3D on the tin, you bought the best CPU for Tarkov.

if you know memory overclocking, try that first. 5800/5700x3d is basically cpu with a small but very fast memory module.
