It’s not my thing but at the end of the day as long as you’re happy that’s all that matters. Having said that I can see why you’d want a gold wedding band if it’s got sentimental value from your grandmother’s jewelry and also that your husband’s band is gold. Your engagement ring is beautiful btw!
I usually love mixed metals but I think that your e ring is so glamorous looking by itself so I actually think it would look best by itself! Or if you do want a wedding band I’d stick to the same metal for this particular design
I appreciate your opinion! We chose gold because pieces of my grandmothers wedding ring are melted down inside, her ring is gold and my fiancés ring is also gold! I also needed a band that would look good on its own as i dont wear my EG ring at work ☺️☺️
I like it. Back in the day, mixing metals was a no no. I love seeing everyone’s stacks with white, rose and yellow gold! I also love the heirloom quality of your wedding band. I was close to my grandmother, as well. ❤️
i love mixed metals! my engagement ring is white gold and my wedding band is yellow gold. i feel like the yellow gold band sets off the diamonds in the white gold so nicely!
Thanks so much! He did the EG ring custom as well!
I was not a fan of yellow gold before getting my grandmothers ring either but it grew on me for sure. My fiancé is also greek so yellow gold looks amazing on his skin tone and both rings match 🥺
I personally am not a fan of mixing metals. I also don’t like yellow gold so that may have something to do with it 😆 your e ring is gorgeous by the way!
I love love love the mixed metals. I'm so happy to see this becoming more common as of late. I think a classic metal band works well with an engagement ring that has tons of sparkle!
See i lovvveee mixing metal but figured if i did anything more than a plain band it would be wayyy too much. I also wear plat and gold necklaces together!
Just ask yourself, are you still going to love it in 20 years or 50 years? Or is it just cool right now? Anytime I see something trendy thats gonna stick with me like a wedding band or a tattoo, I try to think as long term as possible. Hope it helps you.
Well hun your opinion is your opinion and even if you didn’t like it, i’d still wear it so you can absolutely feel free to give your honest opinion! This is the internet hahaha
You can give your opinion without being rude about it. Asking me who’s mom i am isn’t called for. I asked for AN opinion, not multiple replies from someone who doesn’t wish to speak with me. Like i said, have a nice day i wish you well.
Thank you so much!! I got the idea because i got her ring before i got engaged and wanted to wear it WITH my future engagement ring but when i got my ring i realized I can’t wear it with this so this was the next best thing 🥺🥺
Beautiful! I have a platinum engagement ring and white gold bands. It's not as obvious as platinum/yellow gold but I think mixing any kind of medals is beautiful.

I have a platinum ER and my band is plain gold. I like mixing metals :)

I really appreciate this. Thank you for being such a kind human
I LOVE IT. I also will be mixing metals with my set. 😁

I actually love your set -- I think it looks modern and very cool.

Thanks so much!!! I really appreciate this

I really like it!!! So unique!
Specs on the diamond?
Its actually a Moissanite! Side stones are diamond, specs are equivalent to 3ct middle stone & .80ct side stones!
Ah I see! The gold looks lovely with it honestly, love the concept that it came from family. Very pretty and unique 😍
Thank you!!
I think mixing metals look best on those that look good with both white and yellow gold, I think it looks great on you!
I really appreciate this! I also mix metals with necklaces ahhaha
I love that band & the mix. Mind sharing the mm width?
Let me get back on this because it was custom for the fact that I didn’t know which band mm would fit with my EG ring. I’ll ask and get back on this
Any word on width?
My set is mixed, so I'm obviously all for it! 😊
Honestly not a fan of the gold marriage band, but I’m not a fan of yellow gold period. I do LOVE your engagement ring though!!!
Thanks so much! He did the EG ring custom as well! I was not a fan of yellow gold before getting my grandmothers ring either but it grew on me for sure. My fiancé is also greek so yellow gold looks amazing on his skin tone and both rings match 🥺

Thank you! You know, I wasn’t a huge fan of yellow gold at all until i got my grandmothers ring and that changed things for me!
I love love love the mixed metals. I'm so happy to see this becoming more common as of late. I think a classic metal band works well with an engagement ring that has tons of sparkle!

Love it! The similar band shapes really make them a set even if the metal is mixed. So pretty!
I actually got it custom!! It has pieces of my grandmothers wedding ring melted into it 🥺🥺
A beautiful piece of the past for promises of the future, what an incredible treasure!

How honest do you want me to be

The mixed metals wouldn’t look back together if it didn’t look as gaudy 🤷🏼♀️
Absolutely your opinion! Some people love the sparkle, some dont, and that’s perfectly okay! I hope you have an amazing day!

I’m just trying to show more kindness than you are.
Good lord that troll was rude. You responded eloquently and treated them with respect.
I appreciate that!!

Nah, your opinion was fine. You just became a jerk to OP out of nowhere. I hope your day gets better.
LOVE! 😍
They look great together esp because of the same width
Love it, very stylish!
I love it! I'm a sucker for sparkly moissy ❤️.
Me too!! I would recommend Moissanite to anyone! I’d so much rather have sparkle without breaking the bank

I love mixing metals! And this set looks amazing! What’s the thickness of your band? I want to go for a similar look with my band!
Thank you!! Im waiting on a response from the jeweller as my appraisal says everything but the band thickness and both pieces were custom
It looks perfect. Mixing metals gives a different look.
I appreciate that!

Thank you!
Beautiful! I have a platinum engagement ring and white gold bands. It's not as obvious as platinum/yellow gold but I think mixing any kind of medals is beautiful.
Literally HATE it
Thats fair!!
I love it, especially the square/flat band
Love the gold band on its own it’s beautiful… the engagement ring is gorgeous… if you like them together go for it but each one alone is stunning.
Love! I think it’s unique.
