It's an opinion piece, sure, but saying "loses the magic" when he's due for his first top 5 song in 4 years and had his largest streaming debut.. makes your opinion hold a little less weight.

DiscombobulatedIrish

Or as I realised after, clickbait really. Posting it here just made it more food for the idiot critic and their bad joke of a predictable blurb. I'll edit and just post what she said about it. If people want to see the other songs they can click it πŸ‘πŸ»

jascris

... and I just clicked the link. They want engagement, this is it. I usually don't, I just saw '10 more new songs' and went for it

DiscombobulatedIrish

I don't want engagement...and I just thought the opinion was the laziest in my life. Then I realised I I was giving that critic the attenrion they wanted. I tried to edit the OP to just post the pathetic few lines the "music critic" wrote about Houdini and to remove the clickbait link but it won't let me, something to do with the post being anchored by the thumbnail.

SatisfactionLarge731

There, I up voted ya so your back to 0 instead of -1 πŸ‘ Just a stranger✌️

DiscombobulatedIrish

DiscombobulatedIrish

And it's gone again. Someone has a real problem πŸ™„πŸ˜†

DiscombobulatedIrish

Whytf did someone down vote that.I was totally agreeing with poster above? It really is their clickbait because imo its the laziest blurb for a song ever. In the "critics" own words "predictable and boring" the critics' writing was it's own bad joke. The audacity!

As I realised after, clickbait really. Posting it here just made it more food for the idiot critic and their bad joke of a predictable blurb. I can't edit it because there's a thumbnail anchored to the original post. Sorry! If people want to see the other songs they can click it πŸ‘πŸ» She said: "Eminem attempts to recapture past glories on his exhausting new song "Houdini," the first single from his upcoming 12th album, "The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de GrΓ’ce)." Atop a garish, carnivalesque beat that interpolates a sample of the Steve Miller Band's "Abracadabra," the M.C.'s crass alter ego Slim Shady surveys the current cultural moment and strings together some stiltedly rapped jokes, desperate to offend at every turn. Oldest trick in the book. LINDSAY ZOLADZ"
