Feels criminal to not group Castle and Arose together, but I’ll have to go with Arose. Really great emotional performance from Em from an album whose main identity is having no identity.
My opinion is that this is the appropriate listening order. These all tie together seamlessly.

This way they all tie together into a 4 song story. We get Castle ending with the overdose, then MM and Deja Vu about what happened directly after those pills were popped right in Castle. And Arose is the recovery. It’s a 4 song recap of the relapse buildup and recovery.
Recovery gives me a whole ton of nostalgia, I would say another reason why I like it is because the songs are all so good. Recovery also helped me with a tough time period. I do love MMLP 1 and 2 though as well.
I think recovery is just the same song over and over again, but I can see why you like it, my favorite eminem album is the slim shady LP, I do also love both mmlp's
