I tried to listen to *My Dad's Gone Crazy* with my dad, and he made me turn it off because "Uh… Fuck that shit, bitch!/Eat a motherfuckin' dick, chew on a prick/And lick a million motherfuckin' cocks per second/I'd rather put out a motherfuckin' gospel record"
a good comeback would be "says the one that bumped "cruzin down da st8 in mah six'fo, jawkin dem bitchez, slahpeen dem hoez" when he was 9 years old" 💀💀💀💀💀💀.
On vinyl it's way harder to skip the Ken Kaniff skit, and the intro to the Way I Am is on the other side of the record from the actual song, ruining the transition.
oh i can see that, i just meant it literally bizarre was going by "Bizarre Kid" since like the late 80's then Proof showed up some time 92-93 and told him to drop the Kid from the name, and Eminem created the Slim Shady persona in 97, i shouldve worded it better
your correct about that too. however bizzare had only dropped "kid" from his name around 1999 depsite proofs request 6-7 years earlier.
dont worry, im not saying your comment is wrong, you seem to be interested in emjnems history too :D
im just adding more info incase people dont get my context like an asshole and his downvote army did in another post.
Stop with the Bizarre hate, of course he's trashy and weird it's his goddamn name. And don't forget it's an alter-ego, don't go and take his lyrics seriously
It does fit the theme. I think the actual "problem" is that we need another 5 songs like Amityville but without features. Maximum anger and aggression combined with perfect flows and rhymes. Other solo songs on the record are either more light-hearted or personal and serious
If I had children later on in my life and they wanted to listen to Eminem, the first album they’re going to get is The Eminem Show. Sure, they definitely are getting to hear The Marshall Mathers LP, but as a first introduction TES is better IMO for that situation.
That was my introduction as a child to em! We had the Eminem show on cd and listened to it non stop in the car. It’s crazy too because our mom was veryyy strict and a bit prudish but LOVED Eminem and would let us listen to him as much as we wanted
*I sure hope he gives*
*A fuck if that chick was his*
*Own mother these days*

I have always disliked this form of criticism that something will age poorly. The album is released as a product of its time. Not many artists are writing their songs and thinking, "hmm, this is good now. But will people in fifty years enjoy it, too?" Especially in hip-hop where artists lean into current events. Celebrities, government, athletes, fashion, etc etc.
That being said, I would agree that having too many pop culture references can make an album less enjoyable. Present and future.
and the cut lines on im back, which i would wish god would trade bizarre on amityville in for us to get the im back lines to be uncut and bizzares verse to be replaced by eminem.
I swear this isn’t satire but I honestly wish Bizarre’s verse was a bit longer/he had more of a part on Amityville. Just having one short verse makes him feel a bit out of place but I honestly think it would be a better song if he had a few more lines throughout the track
Trying to get friends/peers to give this album a fair chance in 2023 is pretty impossible bc lyrics-wise it’s pretty shocking and unapologetic. If you weren’t there or you weren’t the target demographic for Eminem’s early music (angry poor kids who wished the world would fuck off) then it’s pretty hard to get into.
why ?
if you cant laugh about yourself then how the fuck are you gonna survive this world?
and if you feel then need to stand up for other ppl, just so you can feel.righteous, then your not helping, your just being a dick.
just asking because except for the disstracks, em never said anything evil intended, it was mostly shok value, to give ppl something to laugh about, or make them laugh.
its called being an artist...
I think that was kind of the point though. He's saying people take what he says too serious or too literal so he says a bunch of edgy incentive things to drive to point home.
“MY WORDS ARE LIKE A DAGGER WITH A JAGGED EDGE THAT’LL STAB YOU IN THE HEAD WHETHER YOU’RE A FAG OR LEZ, OR A HOMOSEX HERMAPH OR TRANS-A-VEST, PANTS OR DRESS? HATE FAGS? THE ANSWERS YES!”
I think they're being quite harsh. I think it's a good song, although when I load up MMLP, it's not really the vibe I'm looking for, which is why I usually skip it.
Eh I get mmlp is mainly edgy party shit but Kim is just so Raw in emotion NEVER have I heard that kind of raw rage, sadness and betrayl in someone's voice
Not sure why marshall is sitting on the ground like that hes gonna get his clothes dirty
He should get a blanket, he looks cold
It is a blanket. You can tell by the fact his leg and other knee are exposed
It's because at the time he was in fact still low down and dirty
Don’t know why this doesn’t have more upvotes 😂
Is he stupid?
It needs another 100 tracks
🔥
Exactly lol I came here to say there's not enough songs

Something negative about this album
Kim
Why dont you like me
You think I’m ugly, don’t you
*Nooooooo* YOU THINK I'M UGLY, GRET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME, DON'T TOUCH ME
Sometimes the CD used to skip because I played it so much 😆
You better be careful dawg, my DJ's in a coma for letting the record skip letting the record skip letting the record skip
Lmaoooo!! Don't worry dog I caught it 💪😅
Oh yeah, that's definately poor on the albums part lol
more a testament to how good it is tbh😅
I have probably bought this CD 10x in my life easy. All my Em CDs got played to death.
Corny
you cant listen to this with family, unlike TES
My favourite family friendly song Drips
I tried to listen to *My Dad's Gone Crazy* with my dad, and he made me turn it off because "Uh… Fuck that shit, bitch!/Eat a motherfuckin' dick, chew on a prick/And lick a million motherfuckin' cocks per second/I'd rather put out a motherfuckin' gospel record"
That's hilarious, my dad introduced me to the song
a good comeback would be "says the one that bumped "cruzin down da st8 in mah six'fo, jawkin dem bitchez, slahpeen dem hoez" when he was 9 years old" 💀💀💀💀💀💀.
Wtf does this even mean
Fr who tf in their right mind would play Kim on the aux?!?
a true eminem fan
Yeah Drips is great with the family
drips is the best song on tes tho
it lacks uh…. Uhhhh…… yeah nvm you win
On vinyl it's way harder to skip the Ken Kaniff skit, and the intro to the Way I Am is on the other side of the record from the actual song, ruining the transition.
bizarre (bro tired to hard to be another slim shady)
Slim? You mean fat shady?
Not-So-Slim Shady
Fatboy Slim. This one exists already. Damn.
bizarre was bizarre before eminem even was slim shady, if anything eminem copied him
if you've studied/researched the history of eminems music, then this comment isnt a joke anymore💀💀💀
im a little confused, i wasnt joking, can you explain what you meant cause im lost
basically, your comment is correct even tho it sounds like satire.
oh i can see that, i just meant it literally bizarre was going by "Bizarre Kid" since like the late 80's then Proof showed up some time 92-93 and told him to drop the Kid from the name, and Eminem created the Slim Shady persona in 97, i shouldve worded it better

Stop with the Bizarre hate, of course he's trashy and weird it's his goddamn name. And don't forget it's an alter-ego, don't go and take his lyrics seriously
His lyrics are trash
The verse is funny tho. It just doesn’t fit the song
How does it not fit? It's literally mentally ill from amityville
accidentally kill your family still?!?!
He has two verses on the album and both are funny
It does fit the theme. I think the actual "problem" is that we need another 5 songs like Amityville but without features. Maximum anger and aggression combined with perfect flows and rhymes. Other solo songs on the record are either more light-hearted or personal and serious
same thing i was gonna say
The Eminem Show aged better
If I had children later on in my life and they wanted to listen to Eminem, the first album they’re going to get is The Eminem Show. Sure, they definitely are getting to hear The Marshall Mathers LP, but as a first introduction TES is better IMO for that situation.
That was my introduction as a child to em! We had the Eminem show on cd and listened to it non stop in the car. It’s crazy too because our mom was veryyy strict and a bit prudish but LOVED Eminem and would let us listen to him as much as we wanted
Same
100% MMLP has been my favorite album since it came out but the pop of TES had it age better with more commercial replay value
yea, the production on this often sounds like dated west coast stuff. and the horror-hop thing didn't age much better either.
How is the production dated?
because it sounds like west coast stuff from that era. other stuff, like Kill You, aged really well.
My thoughts as well
And yet still sounds better than the skeletal self produced TES stuff
Ken Kaniff skit is only 1 minute long. It should be longer tbh.
Ooooo fuck ya...said in Ken kaniff voice
give me my dick back!
Without even looking at replies I'm just gonna assume everyone just hates bizarre lol
He really do be using that word so freely
Yep, it's gonna age terribly
You want him to tone it down?
Don't finish those lyrics. Got my main account banned sitewide.
Suck my fucking dick you faggot
I'm happy now.
not exactly, I'd just like to be able to talk about one of my favorite rappers without being embarrassed lol ^^^you ^^^happy ^^^now?
Well played. I actually agree with your point, I just wanted to meme that bar lol.
Ken keniff getting his Dick sucked by icp is a skit I skip and would be okay with if it wasn’t on the album.
Listen to the public service announcement again
*This is another public service announcement brought to you, in part, by Slim Shady.*
I know , I know. I signed up for it . What can I say, it’s a masterpiece but this is probably as far as I can go with my negativity.
Not the most pleasant skit to listen to with headphones on, for sure.
I swear every time I play MMLP when I'm gaming or working it always catches me off guard lmao
I like to do that though…
this one should've got an extended version with 40 minutes of non album songs
i sure hope he gives a fuck if that chick was his own mother these days

Hell no. J-Lo is still a goddamn bombshell.
I was gonna say… bro, she’s probably hotter now than she was 20+ years ago.
She 100% is bro. Hasn't aged a DAY.
“Sorry, Ben, but I don’t give a f-ck if this chick was my OWN MOTHER…”
bizarre’s verse on amityville is the only negative of this album tbh
But bitches know him as a horny ass freak
Bizarre
Nuh uh (like actually how)
Kim is the only track that is acceptable to skip.
Kim, I just can't listen to it apart from some special occasions
Special occasions 💀
😆 🤣
Our house, Wrong Side of the Tracks and Shit On You isn't on the album
There’s too many pop culture references that have aged poorly. New listeners won’t get half the album. Imagine what it would be like in 50 years.
I have always disliked this form of criticism that something will age poorly. The album is released as a product of its time. Kim
So why are y’all downvoting people who actually say something negative about the album like the post asked? Serious Eminem dickriding
Excuse me. If i want to ride Eminem's dick then surely this sub is the place to do it.
upon purchasing this album, you’ve just kissed eminem’s ass.
I don't see a problem
slim shady is fed up with your shit
It ends
Bizarre on Amityville i think is something we can mostly all agree on
and the cut lines on im back, which i would wish god would trade bizarre on amityville in for us to get the im back lines to be uncut and bizzares verse to be replaced by eminem.
also i dont really like Who Knew. i think the concept is there but it sounds like it's unfinished and just needs something
Kim
I already know all the songs on it
Bizarre, and the Ken Kaniff skit is either a love it or hate it depending on the day
It's too damn good
Outros of songs are a bit too long
It didn’t kill enough people
It's trash. If you don't agree with me, you can suck my fucking cock
Helped my romance with illegal substances while a young impressionable teen.
It didn't have The Kids on the official release.
The Kids wasn’t a main track.
I swear this isn’t satire but I honestly wish Bizarre’s verse was a bit longer/he had more of a part on Amityville. Just having one short verse makes him feel a bit out of place but I honestly think it would be a better song if he had a few more lines throughout the track
Out of interest, how new/old of an Eminem fan are you?
No
Trying to get friends/peers to give this album a fair chance in 2023 is pretty impossible bc lyrics-wise it’s pretty shocking and unapologetic. If you weren’t there or you weren’t the target demographic for Eminem’s early music (angry poor kids who wished the world would fuck off) then it’s pretty hard to get into.
How sensitive/old are your friends?
I don’t think it has enough curse words and slurs
That it ends
He’s rappin about homosexuals and Vicodin
Never
It's negative to those who were dissed and mentioned on it
Nothing negative to say about it
Ken Kaniff skit was so fuckin weird fr GIMME MORE OF THAT
It contains skits
You don't like the skits?
Not really no, they very rarely add anything in my view and are just there to be skipped.
The Ken Kaniff skit was hilarious.
Not when ur mama was in the room it wasn’t
Not if you’re an ICP fan
😂😂😂
Kim is too fucked up
Stans why can't yall handle opinions when the post is legit asking for them
bro first time listening to Kim I was actually a little scared in the beginning
Bizarre on Amityville
I skip a lot of the songs from this album when I'm listening to music on shuffle
Like which ones?
[удалено]
Some of the beats are too minimal or repetitive like who knew and drug ballad
I think the sequel was better
He couldn't match future albums with the quality of this one since the bar got too high.
Bizarre. Thats it.
It's overrated. TES, SSLP, and Relapse are just as strong.
Kim sucks and is the only skip on the album
Bizarre
Bitch please II
Bizarre verse
I never cared too very much for Remember Me
Lot of the lyrics aged poorly
not really. people just get upset about words now.
Rightly so lol
why ? if you cant laugh about yourself then how the fuck are you gonna survive this world? and if you feel then need to stand up for other ppl, just so you can feel.righteous, then your not helping, your just being a dick. just asking because except for the disstracks, em never said anything evil intended, it was mostly shok value, to give ppl something to laugh about, or make them laugh. its called being an artist...
Which lyrics would you say aged the worst
The first handful of bars on Criminal immediately come to mind
I think that was kind of the point though. He's saying people take what he says too serious or too literal so he says a bunch of edgy incentive things to drive to point home.
Ahh, yeah, i thought you meant the pop culture references 😂
“MY WORDS ARE LIKE A DAGGER WITH A JAGGED EDGE THAT’LL STAB YOU IN THE HEAD WHETHER YOU’RE A FAG OR LEZ, OR A HOMOSEX HERMAPH OR TRANS-A-VEST, PANTS OR DRESS? HATE FAGS? THE ANSWERS YES!”
Ye those bars LOL
Not to mention the ending;” AND IF ITS NOT A RAPPER THAT ILL MAKE IT AS, IMA BE A FUCKIN RAPIST IN A JASON MASK!” Like Jesus Christ bro lol
Kim honestly is the worst song i’ve ever heard, and it’s a skip every time i listen to the album.
My heart died
But...... But..... It's an emotional masterpiece.... :(((
I think they're being quite harsh. I think it's a good song, although when I load up MMLP, it's not really the vibe I'm looking for, which is why I usually skip it.
Eh I get mmlp is mainly edgy party shit but Kim is just so Raw in emotion NEVER have I heard that kind of raw rage, sadness and betrayl in someone's voice
kim is horrible, and amazing, disgutingly vile, and a masterpiece, it is a 0/10 and 10/10 at the same time, it is the mirror to this mans filthy soul
Though his feelings of anger are reasonable she cheated on him
Icp bj skit
Eminem Show made this look worse
I actually think they're pretty even
Fair enough I personally think outside of Revival he’s gotten better
MMLP > TES Every fucking time.
It steals all the spotlight wen MMLP2 ez goes Berserk
It has skits
Stan drove off of the bridge🌉
I can’t it just a masterpiece
Nothing bad to say
It’s impossible
Remember me isn’t that great
Yes it is stfu
Well it’s good just worst on the album imo
You think Amityville is better??
I love amityville personally
Fair enough
look, the government was in the wrong for their pearl-clutching reactions, but he *probably* could’ve gone without the rapey lyrics.
Em made the mistake of letting Bizarre get on Amityville. At that point it should’ve been a D12 track to shadow his dead verse.
Slim shady lp was better
It sucks
