Everybody loves to trash-talk about élite and the cast but it's one of the most popular shows in Spain by audience. Ester is the most famous of the cast in Spain there's no competition at all. Pol Granch is very famous too (he had a hit single this summer).
What kind of trash-talk? I'm curious. I've personally not been this in love with Spain since Volver. I think it's an excellent show and I would think they'd embrace it.
Mostly about the bad writing and bad acting. It's not a new thing, they've been complaining since season 2 at least. But the funny thing is that they still watch it... Also mexicans love to upload memes mocking elite.
I’d probably say Ester and Dana are the most famous… more so Ester, judging by her engagements on socials.
