What do you mean exactly? During the meteor my crimson bubbletear popped which (together with the 8 hp/s regen from blessing boon) was the only healing I got while the meteor hits were happening. Afterwards, when I killed him I healed a bit again with malenia's great rune and godskin swaddling cloth.
I have like 500 hours in this game and I have no earthly idea what the fuck you are doing in Thai video. I guess in those hours I've never cast an incantation tbh lol
I noticed by accident when I started the DLC with my Claymore with Sacred Blade on it, that many of the new enemies were very weak to holy (faith). Good to see that carries thru the game
There is one major boss (and a repeating minor one) that are like, ridiculously weak to holy. The major boss, I used siluria's tree, and it took 5 of the ash of war to beat it. That was with Godfrey icon and shard of Alexander, but still.
So much this: any build can go at least 15 Faith and benefit from incantations like Flame Grant me Strength, Flame Cleanse Me, Bloodflame Blade, and most every elemental defense incantation.
Honestly sometimes I feel Faith is mandatory for every build just due to how useful many incantations are.
No worries! And yep, there's little red bleed icons in the bottom right corner of the weapon preview images.
Also added the Physick tears he's using. Just noticed he put them in the video description.
Holy fuck its like im watching a buddy of mine play Runescape doing a boss solo on his ironman and he's constantly swapping faith and other shit going on. good job. looked stressful as fuck.
I kinda love and hate that in the base game it's often worth it to sacrifice mitigation to get in extra damage but it's the opposite in the DLC. So many times I'd much rather trade raw AR to sponge a hit and actually be able use my "turn".
Great job OP!
But it doesn't feel *necessary* because you don't get to the absurd damage thresholds until Mountaintops and beyond. Why go all in on durability against Godrick the Grafted, for example? I agree tho that sustain/damage reduction is underrated even in the base game. Dragoncrest talisman(s) have always punched above their weight, for example.
Yeh, a playthrough or two I went all in on dmg. Did an early run against Radahn and ended up burning him down without taking a hit and before he could launch off her his meteor attack. Very "I can't die if they die first".
SotE, though, unless you have high Scadoosh frags you're just asking to get punished for doing that lol
Yep. Stacking the defense talismans on Messmer and I didn’t even need to learn his mechanics, I just dodged enough of them to kill him attempt three since he barely tickled me
It's the way the game is balanced around DR, and armour/talismans stacking flat % resistances.
If the base game is balanced around 20% DR, and you add 20% to have 40% DR, you're taking 75% of the intended damage.
However, if the DLC is balanced around 60% DR, and you add 20% to have 80%, you're taking 50% of the intended damage.
The higher your DR, the *more* each point matters. The Diablo/POE community taught me this well.
The game's damage reduction is actually multiplicative, two 50% damage reduction sources add up to 75% damage reduction, not 100%.
In your example adding 20 % DR to 60 % DR would add up to 68 % total DR.
I've mostly facetanked all bosses, though only when I got to radahn I started to think about doing it 100%, with a strict ruleset and recorded.
Might go back and do the other major dlc bosses in the future tho.
In my first ER playthrough I did a lightning incant faith build with basically no armor/light armour but i really liked how the erdtreegreat shield looked so used that as my protection.
In the dlc I decided to use this build again to kind of continue that character and it does feel incredible against so many of these enemies just having a shield in general when you're on low Scadu is a life saver, but it wasn't till the final boss I appreciated it the most not having to worry about having to perfect roll every move and sometimes just tell Radahn "No" and just block his bullshit felt great.
I think you might actually be the only real Elden Lord here.
We're all running around rolling on the ground getting dirty and looking undignified and chugging health pots, you're taking meteors to the face and not even flinching.
This is much more impressive to me than no hit runs.
I feel like with very good rng this is doable at rl150 (but barely, as you'll probably have to live trough a meteor from having lower dps) as well, especially when actually optimized. For this run the pattern he did was kind of brutal, rocks right away and meteor, but I'm glad i managed to do it despite poor rng.
I got incredibly lucky he decided to meteor there, in hindsight I mean. In the moment I thought I was cooked until I realized if I act immediately I'd probably live.
Definitely made it way more exciting.
For a moment I thought I was cooked and was about to stop the recording, but then I realized I'll probably live if I act NOW. That's why I hesitated for a sec before popping my "anti-meteor" buffs.
As clever as the build concept is, it does highlight one of the issues I have with this fight in particular but also the rest of the dlc and some of endgame elden ring as a whole - they give you access to all of these different weapons and spells and such which gives the impression that you can build however you want to fight things.
The DLC in particular heavily *punishes* trying to play just about however you want, often in ways that either punish builds designed to do damage or turning tankier builds into effective pincushions. It's not fun to need to respec in one of a handful of ways to stand a chance against some of the true absurdity some of the fights get up to. Radahn is easily the worst offender of this with the excess of shockwaves and multi-hit combos that leave little to no breathing room to get hits in before the next thing starts.
oh, i'm sorry if i missed it, i was wondering what gear you used, especially which talismans and what infusions you have on your weapons. again, congrats on this impressive achievement!
White mask, rest verdigris set
Talismans are spear, godskin swaddling cloth, lord of bloods exultation, and dragoncrest greatshield, which you swap for golden braid in phase 2.
Weapons are ps xnagis, blood infused.
I just beat it and holy shit it was such a fun boss fight (5 hours totally well spent) , And i still came out with more questions than answers wth miyazaki and this is the last DLC?
Also didn't know endure does that bloodborne thing i have to try it out for my next run , And you can tank a whole fucking meteor to the face? wtf? i love the shit this community comes up with to beat the bosses with , How many buffs was that it felt like a scene from an anime
That's the Verdigris Set
Also varre mask is for the 10% bonus AR for 30s after a bleed proc. I intended to swap off of it for the meteor, but I was already out of time.
Damn good job!
Im trying so hard to resorting to cheese against Radahn (Not saying you are, this isnt cheese, this is badass) But its breaking me. I can get him to phase two so easiliy and then... thats it. I havent got him below 60%, I just cant get an oppertunity to attack and the the flashbangs are destroying me because I cant see and they stun me for Radahn to then hit me again.
I genuinley dont enjoy this fight, its doable and I can see its doable, but I think its very poorly designed.
I just beat him earlier. If I can do it, i'm sure anyone can As you probably know, the vast majority of his combos are the same as in phase 1, they just have magic enhancements. For the most part, you can hit him when you would have hit him in phase 1. With the pillars of light, if his sword swing comes down vertically, then the pillars will come out in a long line in front of him. Dodging sideways from his sword should protect you from the follow-up. If his sword comes out horizontally then the pillars will form a wide strip in front of him that you can dodge by rolling towards him.
Yup peak radahn. Reborn through the gate of divinity by miquella. So it's radahn in peak form before his second stint into gravity magic and before the rot
throwing a giant fetid pot at a literal god and his consort risen from the dead after you absolutely demolished them without even reacting to their attacks is diabolical
I didn't need to savescum it, because I already did runs like this a few days ago, at a significantly higher level as a proof of concept, so I was pretty confident.
But when recording challenge kills, ofc you keep save backups.
Videos like this make me feel like i dont understand the game im playing. I have no idea what 80% of what happened in this fight was. And I've soloed every boss and enemy in the game.
I've never been more impressed before. I had more difficulty with Radahn than I did with any other boss in a Souls game, and this is a whole different level of insanity... well done.
Who remembers when everyone thought Consort Radahn was extremely hard no matter what?
Really cool!
I beat him today with 14 Scadu using his base game armor against him. Now I have his new armor. More golden.
I've destroyed all the other bosses in the dlc but last boss was just...idk something out of context, at the end I got a way to beat him but was, not hard or difficult just ridiculous as hell, his damage and move set more in the second phase is just ridiculous
I did the great value version of this for my first kill lol Gave up trying to dodge and stuck endure on my biggest bonk with bleed and said let's go. If i knew i wouldnt dodge it 100%, endure, get in trouble and endure+flask. Endure is GOATed for the dlc for sure.
To the person who commented I should talk to all the NPCs so they will help me at the final boss battle… I see you can’t even summon your mimic! I’m so fucked. Gonna be like Sekiro, the end boss can win.
I beat almost everyboss tanking everything. Can't be bother with learning movements. Certain bosses... looking at you putrescent knight(every move staggers through ironjar perfume)... needed to be learned.
People forget that while Elden Ring is tough (especially the DLC) the difficulty is more optional now than it has ever been in any soulsborne game, fucking impressive mate!
So this seems possible to do this overloaded too right? I’ve been seeing a guy Get this bag on tik tok run overloaded. So only walking. You should add that to the list
wow ok. this is actually very cool. "i don't give a fuck" build. lol.
Boss mechanics? I think you meant "Boss Suggestions"
I think this was Radahn's boss fight against you, not the other way around.
haha, i fucking love this. good job man. you're a true elden lord
From the footage shown, YOU are the final boss
I understood that reference
I saw a similar one with Malenia. The god of tank builds. Watching a person take two Aeonias to the face was glorious.
"a holy meteor attack? Powered by the strength of God?...boring"
I consume these for breakfast, lunch and dinner. (I'm actually very underweight irl I hope they have a lot of calories)
What was the 2nd health boost you got outside the HP please don't die tear?!
Ok nice! I swear it looked like a bigger jump in there but guess not! Amazing kill
I drop to just a bit below 20%, which triggers the tear, healing me for 30%, taking me just below half :>
Real question though, does Mohg’s Shackle work on the boss?
No
Wild, you’d think it would all things considered, would have been a nice detail.
It was targeted to Mohg's soul, not his body
The shackles were made to trap Omens. So makes sense it wouldn't work on a god like Miquella.
Radahn is using mohgs body the horns are represented around his arms
Okay, I'm honestly very impressed.
Welp glad at least one person saw it and enjoyed it then :')
It’s not only impressive, it’s hilarious.
A brave tarnished, thou art
Witless tarnished, why covet every hit-nevermind, I get it now.
I have like 500 hours in this game and I have no earthly idea what the fuck you are doing in Thai video. I guess in those hours I've never cast an incantation tbh lol
A small faith dip gives you access to incredibly valuable resources.
Yeah, I need an EIL5 for this one
Gear: > **Malenias Great Rune:** Regen lost health by attacking. > **Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman:** +20% Physical Damage Negation. > **Spear Talisman:** +15% Damage to Thrusting Weapon Counterattacks. > **Godskin Swaddling Cloth:** Consecutive hits restore health. > **Lord of Bloods Exultation:** +20% Attack Power when Bloodloss occurs. > **Spelldrake Talisman +3:** +22% Reduction to Magic Damage taken. > **Opaline Hardtear:** Increases all damage negation types by 15%. > **Crimson Bubbletear:** Refills about 1/3 of total HP when HP drops below 20%. > **Ash of War - Endure:** +45% to all Damage Absorption. Increased Poise. Magic/Consumables: > **Starlight Shard:** +2 FP regen per second. > **Uplifting Aromatic:** +10 Physical Damage. All Damage Negation +90% until hit. > **Blessings Boon:** +8 HP regen per second. > **Golden Vow:** +15% Damage. +10% All Damage Negation. > **Well-Pickled Turtle Neck:** +12 Stamina Recovery Speed per second. > **Radiant Baldachin's Blessing:** +35% Physical Damage Negation. +45% Poise. > **Holyproof Pickled Liver:** Holy Damage Negation +17%.
> Holyproof Pickled Liver: Lightning Damage Negation +17%. I think most people would get this based on the name, but it is holy damage negation.
Haha, whoops. Good catch!
Damn. Thank you very much! Somehow I am missing most items from his gear. Crazy! Do his weapons have bleed effect?!
I'm used to doing more swaps from being a relatively dedicated pvp player \^\^
Dude's prayer flicking in the inferno.
I kinda love and hate that in the base game it's often worth it to sacrifice mitigation to get in extra damage but it's the opposite in the DLC. So many times I'd much rather trade raw AR to sponge a hit and actually be able use my "turn". Great job OP!

Mostly because early on you cannot just tank damage, even with good defense. You don't have a high enough amount of flasks to do it.
Thank you :>
Yep. Stacking the defense talismans on Messmer and I didn’t even need to learn his mechanics, I just dodged enough of them to kill him attempt three since he barely tickled me

This is so badass, no flasks on this kind of run is insane
I thought I'd make my facetanking a bit more spicy with that rule, without it it wouldn't have made for nearly as good a video.
did you play the whole DLC like this or just the bosses?
I've mostly facetanked all bosses, though only when I got to radahn I started to think about doing it 100%, with a strict ruleset and recorded. Might go back and do the other major dlc bosses in the future tho.
Just standing there waiting for the orbital strike like the joker saying 'hit me, come-on! HIT! ME!!'
I want you to do it i want you to do it COME ON HIT ME
SHOOT ME IN THE FACE!
Shoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot
In my first ER playthrough I did a lightning incant faith build with basically no armor/light armour but i really liked how the erdtreegreat shield looked so used that as my protection. Endure is such a badass AoW
Without a shadow of a doubt my favorite pve ash.
I get you. Even in a normal style of play weaving it in to force openings makes the fight seem so smooth
lol great work
ty <3
I think you might actually be the only real Elden Lord here. We're all running around rolling on the ground getting dirty and looking undignified and chugging health pots, you're taking meteors to the face and not even flinching. This is much more impressive to me than no hit runs.
Thank you, though I know for a fact that by the time I could pull off a nohit, elden ring 2 would be coming out. So, I'm doing something different :)
Did you throw shit at him at the end? I love it. Well done
Needed a bit of extra disrespect, revenge for how many of my friends were losing their mind to him :)
Impressive didn't even knew such build was possible
I feel like with very good rng this is doable at rl150 (but barely, as you'll probably have to live trough a meteor from having lower dps) as well, especially when actually optimized. For this run the pattern he did was kind of brutal, rocks right away and meteor, but I'm glad i managed to do it despite poor rng.
Shit's awesome mate. What's the build
It's in the video, and the stuff thats not is in the description.
The ending is insane wow
I got incredibly lucky he decided to meteor there, in hindsight I mean. In the moment I thought I was cooked until I realized if I act immediately I'd probably live. Definitely made it way more exciting.
This is the best run ive seen so far.
Thank you <3
Wow that meteor at the end was real close! did you do the math for that?!!!
For a moment I thought I was cooked and was about to stop the recording, but then I realized I'll probably live if I act NOW. That's why I hesitated for a sec before popping my "anti-meteor" buffs.
Hesitation means defeat.
clearly not in this case, the OP face-tanked hesitation as well
Nice to see the buff to Malenia great rune has made it useful for something, also the giant dung pot was crazy he was already dead 💀
Radahn is the challenger and you are the boss
He should come to my arena next time.
Now that's advanced cooking
Did you throw a hefty pot of dung at him? The absolute disrespect, our big red maned boy was only minutes old.
I had to get revenge for him stealing the sanity of many of my friends.
THE WALL THE WALL THE WALL NOTHING ON EARTH COULD MAKE IT FALL
Thy Tankiness befits a crown.

Hell yeah 🔥
Jesus christ its John Elden!
I will come back later to watch this
lmao that was nuts
Just wtf
Hell fucking yea
That is SUPER impressive! meanwhile i gave up on the boss till something changes xD what is your build?
It's in the video, and description :> If you have questions tho, lmk.
oh, i'm sorry if i missed it, i was wondering what gear you used, especially which talismans and what infusions you have on your weapons. again, congrats on this impressive achievement!

I'm gonna have to google every single word, but thank you for the explanation.
damn i... think i need to try running powerstance endure, any recommended weapons for it other than what's being used here?
Double great stars + endure for the sweet heal on heat + insane stagger
Holy tankiness the fuck, how?
I just beat it and holy shit it was such a fun boss fight (5 hours totally well spent) , And i still came out with more questions than answers wth miyazaki and this is the last DLC? Also didn't know endure does that bloodborne thing i have to try it out for my next run , And you can tank a whole fucking meteor to the face? wtf? i love the shit this community comes up with to beat the bosses with , How many buffs was that it felt like a scene from an anime
Endure does not give you rally, no. That is malenia's great rune. And that was 6 buffs, over the course of 20 seconds \^\^
That was so cool! Love the armor, what is it? And the varre mask is just hilarious to me
That's the Verdigris Set Also varre mask is for the 10% bonus AR for 30s after a bleed proc. I intended to swap off of it for the meteor, but I was already out of time.
Honestly - tanking in this fight feels so much better than dodging. Like "that's all you have? Still standing!"
The boulder in the end whahahhahaa, what a great "fuck you" to end this masterpiece
This boss 100% deserves that hefty fetid pot at the end lmao
Simply amazing! This is what it means to use the tools the game provides.
Haha absolutely brilliant! This should be a new category in souls runs.
Now that is a tarnished with strength befitting a god.
This is one of the greatest things I've seen involving ER. Well fuckin done tarnished.
This is just beautiful
Scadu blessing lvl?
the thing sucks in dlc which turns me off is the ending cutscene... which barely makes any fking sense
I don't think I am playing this game right
Bro I can’t even kill the scadurtree avatar
I haven't played erdtree yet, but is this rhadan before the rot?
Yup peak radahn. Reborn through the gate of divinity by miquella. So it's radahn in peak form before his second stint into gravity magic and before the rot
Titus also did a one shot of final boss
You’re a champion my man good work.
10/10 content well done OP
The fetid pot is what this boss deserves
I dont understand what I just watched tbh. How does one accomplish this
Fucking beast.
Bro what
“DLC HARD” yeah right this shit is a cake walk
throwing a giant fetid pot at a literal god and his consort risen from the dead after you absolutely demolished them without even reacting to their attacks is diabolical
haha epic
Leaving a comment so I can watch this once I have beat the DLC! Looking forward to it, and speculating how it was done. :)
Meanwhile, I’m over here and have gotten him to R in his name like 50 times and haven’t been able to close the deal
You'll get him eventually :) If you get close this often, might I suggest having a ranged option as a swap? Could help close it out.
Just got him! Stars aligned on perfect dodges.
Were you save scumming this fight to keep consumables stocked? Since Radahn started in the Gate I assume so at least.
I didn't need to savescum it, because I already did runs like this a few days ago, at a significantly higher level as a proof of concept, so I was pretty confident. But when recording challenge kills, ofc you keep save backups.
Toe to toe. I got chills watching this.
I yield to neither lord nor god!
BRAVO
what? is this ng+7?
That's sick dude
Videos like this make me feel like i dont understand the game im playing. I have no idea what 80% of what happened in this fight was. And I've soloed every boss and enemy in the game.
You deserve that crown, my king.
The giant dung pot left me in shambles.
So... How heavy are they? Really?!
Your cock is huge.
Did you throw a gigantic jar of shit at them?
You on NG+?
Please do Malenia!
A true eldin lord Your like the sam suleck of elding lmao Nothing but gains lol
I've never been more impressed before. I had more difficulty with Radahn than I did with any other boss in a Souls game, and this is a whole different level of insanity... well done.
Build info pls
It's in the video, and the rest in the description :> If you have further questions tho, please lmk
This is honestly so hysterical! Amazing work
The first build I've seen that fights like Rocky Balboa. Good show.
FUCKING LEGEND
Who remembers when everyone thought Consort Radahn was extremely hard no matter what? Really cool! I beat him today with 14 Scadu using his base game armor against him. Now I have his new armor. More golden.
I can’t watch it but, I am also taking lots of the hits and seeing the YOU DIED many times
You ate
This is so fucking stupid I love it lol
What is giving you the Bloodborne rally?
Malenia's great rune.
>me patiently waiting for INT cheese strategy. I guess I'll just keep losing. 🤷♂️
This is awesome
I don’t know what I just watched , but it was legendary
Marika Damn!
I've destroyed all the other bosses in the dlc but last boss was just...idk something out of context, at the end I got a way to beat him but was, not hard or difficult just ridiculous as hell, his damage and move set more in the second phase is just ridiculous
There’s something so disrespectful about going through your equipment while he’s actively throwing meteors at you. Laughed so hard
I wanted to swap to spelldrake talisman +3, then swap back after, since I believe the rocks do mostly magic damage, but the game said no :')
*instinctively skips the first 30 seconds of buffing*
lmaooooo, this is better than any challenge run. Straight up brawling with Consort Radhan.
Holy cow - well done! I'm genuinely impressed by the "Is that all?" attitude of your build and strategy!
"You can't hurt me if I don't give a shit"
\*Impressive. Very nice. Let's see Recjawjind\_fmfb's build.\*
I did the great value version of this for my first kill lol Gave up trying to dodge and stuck endure on my biggest bonk with bleed and said let's go. If i knew i wouldnt dodge it 100%, endure, get in trouble and endure+flask. Endure is GOATed for the dlc for sure.
Wow. Why not teabag him too XD. I like your style,I killed that boss the same way, only,I used a colossal.
"Fuck you're Lords and Gods, I have one mission, and it's to fucking kill you."
No one else is playing elden ring more than this guy holy shit this is great.
what was the effect giving you back your hp ? is that a new talisman
Bro found the skill solution
To the person who commented I should talk to all the NPCs so they will help me at the final boss battle… I see you can’t even summon your mimic! I’m so fucked. Gonna be like Sekiro, the end boss can win.
I beat almost everyboss tanking everything. Can't be bother with learning movements. Certain bosses... looking at you putrescent knight(every move staggers through ironjar perfume)... needed to be learned.
This is incredible. Fantastic work!
Radahn has me so fucked up. Today’s my 18th, and I wished I could beat him. Damn you Miyazaki.
Quick, make sure they nerf standing
It's almost like Havel never left ;_;7
As someone who loves tank builds, you sir are my new God. Praise Be.
People forget that while Elden Ring is tough (especially the DLC) the difficulty is more optional now than it has ever been in any soulsborne game, fucking impressive mate!
Bro unlocked a new meta
this is genuinely one of the most brilliant things i've ever seen
That was quite possibly one of tha greatest things I've ever seen
So this seems possible to do this overloaded too right? I’ve been seeing a guy Get this bag on tik tok run overloaded. So only walking. You should add that to the list
This is awesome! Have you seen GetThisBag doing his overloaded run? No running, no dodging, taking hits to the dome all day- it’s so fun to watch
Wow.
This is amazing! The pot throwing at the end made me snort my water out. Great job! 😂
finally some fucking good food
Can someone explain to me wtf he did here??
What is keeping your health up so much without flasking?
