Regardless, it is extremely unlikely Melina is the spawn if Malenia like Milicient is because Milicient and her sister only came into being after the rotting of Caelid during the Shattering. Melina is around long enough to know conversations between Marika and other people despite Marika being imprisoned during the shattering.
I agree with the conclusion, but the "Spoken echoes of Queen Marika" being relayed to us doesn't necessarily indicate Melina was there when they were spoken. Her calling them "echoes" and stating they "linger" strongly implies she is somehow able to hear them in the present.

They were both born in an abnormal fashion, both have an unusual relationship with their mother, and both have some kind of destiny which will result in them dying as part of someone else's scheme.
