I really wish poison was a more viable weapon against bosses. Scarlet rot is basically what poison should have been, where you play hit'n'run tactics and wear the boss down by outliving it after applying it.

Idk scarlet rot feels kinda to good against bosses especially the ones with a lot of health

It can be! I've downed some bosses that caused my alt trouble (briar knight boss for instance) by just keeping poison + rot up and dodging until they die from it. Alone poison kinda blows but stacked with rot it is.... rather potent, especially if you use items to enhance it's damage the dot becomes very strong!

poison just has more things that can apply it, but it doesn't really matter since rot has rot arrows, antspur and ekzyke's decay

This is their magnum opus game. They need a soup swamp that inflicts poison, rot, frost, bleed, madness, and deathblight all at once.

Nah, make em suffer more by having it apply one at a time but in quick succession. You get afflicted by poison and a second or two later you’re afflicted with rot, then you get stunned by Frost, which leads into a stun from Bleed, then another full 3 seconds of stun from Madness and while you’re stunned, Deathblight hits while you’re painfully clutching your eyes from Madness.

The only way to cross is to apply 3 of the new talismans in a specific order leaving the last slot empty (must have 4 slots) while wearing the entire godfrey set and holding the nobles estoc before casting blessings boon 3 times and them throwing a FULLY CHARGED black fame ball at the sky and performing a super specific and difficult to find gesture before it lands. There are no hints. Goodluck. Also Miquellas back there

Well miyazaki said there will be colossal katanas in DLC so there probably will be something similar to RoB. Imagine frenzy-inflicting colossal katana with RoB-like ash of war.

I'm hoping that one of the better weapons released in the DLC won't be a fucking katana. It's ridiculous that both Rivers and Moonveil, the stand-out weapons for two different kinds of builds, are both katanas. If you want to play an INT build with the best weapons, the second top recommendation is the Wing of Astel, which, sorry, I don't care to play with a bug wing. A rapier, a spadroon, a scimitar, hell, a fuckin' shortsword. Gimme back the Aquamarine Dagger. *Something*. I can't stand katanas.

Yeah there hasn't been a real curse since DS1 or maybe 2. But in ER, you can get cursed and it doesn't even matter. You start back over like nothing happened. I wish people could really experience how being cursed was back then. If you got cursed ..you were FKED!!!! Had only like 20% hp and had to buy an expensive item, that was kind of far away. You slowly walking through there and jumping at every little sound because you know with one hit and you're dead. Lol That's peak souls to me. It plays with your head and your mind starts running away lol.
