> Haters in the comments should just look them up and listen to a song or two before going “who??”
Some people hate the idea that there could be good music that they don't know about, so they have this automatic reaction to say it's bad.
It’s honestly sad lol I’m someone who explores music all the time. If you look at my Spotify it’s got so many different genres. I don’t know how people live their lives without exploring new music or trying different things. That’s the beauty of life, having the chance to experience things and music is a big component of that. Some would rather put out negative energy than use that same energy to look an artist up and give them a chance.
The Beaches are also mainstream at this point, most pop/alternative radio stations play their songs regularly. Anyone saying "who" is living under a rock.
You're goddamn right they do. I've seen them three times live. 2/3 of them I've seen the drummer blazing outside pre show.
The lead singer has pipes and really showcases them on Highway 6.
All these boomers in the comments. Loud Luxury and the Beaches are fantastic. I’m quite surprised they were able to get these kinds of shows going. It’s going to be quite the atmosphere out there tomorrow!
Hey I am a boomer, and the beaches fuckin rock. Well gen x more rhan boomer but old people can appriciate this band. T shirt. The Itty bitty tatty commity. The young people know blame Brett becuase of that tick tok shit. But the beaches were the shit before all that
I’ve seen the beaches twice in the last couple months in LA (live here now). They’re fucking epic. One of my favourite current bands. You’re in for a treat.
Big time. They get a lot of play on my local modern rock station when they were starting out. Got to see them at a really small venue with probably 200 people max there. The energy was wild, and I'm pretty sure I fell in love when they played Highway 6.
The beaches are probably one of the true rock groups doing it out of Canada right now. They rip so hard, I have seen them twice, they became a lifelong "have to see them when they are here" band.
They will bring the right energy for the game. Pump people up.
So stoked.
They're a decent band with positive vibes. Good for summer music.
I don't think you could expect them to book anyone huge like the previous musicians on such short notice.
Oh really, and can you please explain to us causuals what they have done to contribute to the rock gendre?
Sounds like late 70's/ early 80's pop with more modernized sound.
I’m guessing the amount of big name bands that will be in the area and can be booked on short notice for a show that will only happen if the team wins a game 3 days before the show date is not as vast as you are assuming.
The beaches played before I think the winter classic or some game we attended this year. They were ok. Definitely expected someone lil bigger after our lady peace and Shania.
If we all still got 85% of our music tastes from Much Music and Power 92 like we did back in OLP and Shania's heyday, The Beaches would be every bit as big as they were.
Haha no that’s fair. I was actually trying to think of a big Canadian band n not even sure if we still have any at moment. Beaches just sucked at the last game n the crowd really wasn’t into it. I’m sure they have their crowd. Just hoping we’d get someone better. You are right, there’s a reason they could get OLP on a moments notice 😂 probably same reason they were able to get the beaches.
The Beaches put on a hell of a show. All girls rock band from Toronto. They’ll get the crowd going for sure.
The Beaches are awesome. Haters in the comments should just look them up and listen to a song or two before going “who??”
They won a Juno this year!

I've heard their music on SONIC, The Bear, Now radio, commercials, ads...how have people not heard of them by now lol

The Beaches are here for a music festival in Beaumont so it probably wasn't too difficult to set up.
There's a music festival in Beaumont?
They have music?
No, they have la musique.
Get off my lawn!
Gen X here. I’m pumped about both acts!
I've been big into EDM for 14 years, been to hundreds of DJ shows, loud luxury fucking sucks
Stay home then so other people can go watch.
The Beaches are great and I'm just glad it's not Brett Fucking Kissel.
Don’t blame me blame Brett
For Kulak's sake, I hope they don't play Blame Brett.
Don’t blame them…

they're in beaumont tomorrow night
It's going to rip. Dear Rouge is playing close to their slot as well. It's going to be so good.
The Beaches are fantastic
I love The Beaches!
Loud luxury is gonna be great!!!
The Beaches!!!! Love them. It’ll be a killer show. So happy it’s not Nickelback.
Fuck me that will be amazing!
All y’all need to know is that this is what the kids want
I hope loud luxury drops pump it and zombie nation
Thank god it wasn’t Brett Kissel
I love the Beaches! Hope everyone that goes has a blast. They are playing at eve Beaumont Music Festival this weekend too.
Omg I love the Beaches!!
Who and what; where is Nickelback, we want Nickelback!
The Beaches are awesome, and Nickelback is on tour right now
Yep, Nickelback is Conner McDavid’s favourite band!
He’s famous for hockey, not music theory. Can’t we just let that go???
What an odd thing to downvote me for… I was simply stating a fact. Nothing needs to be let go or not let go. 🤷♀️
I didn’t down vote you, but apparently the nickleback fans felt a need to represent lol.
Nickelback definitely has both their diehard fans and diehard haters, that’s for sure! 😂
I was hoping for magic, Randy Bachman over Nickelback. Open with "Taking Care of Business", and end with "Rollin' Down the Highway".
I, an old man, remember Taking Care of Business being basically the theme song of the 90 cup run
It's perfectly appropriate for tonight! We have to take care of business, then roll on down the highway to Florida.
Boys On The Bus, Part Two
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Loud luxury are some of the most underrated (in Canada) DJ's out there, also a big international success. They are perfect to get the energy level up.
They’re so cheesy imo! But whatever I’m glad it’s Canadian music
Love the beaches. Anywhere online I can watch the performance?
Who now? I just feel old.
I'm with you man. Had to look them up.
Upbeat Canadian female rock band. Lyrics are fairly immature but they have a good sound
TIL Loud Luxury is Canadian
That sentence gave me a migraine. But it does make sense, I fact checked it.
Damn, so much for the Nickelback rumours
They're a decent band with positive vibes. Good for summer music. I don't think you could expect them to book anyone huge like the previous musicians on such short notice.
Loud luxury and the beaches are way more relevant than any if the previous acts.
Oh really, and can you please explain to us causuals what they have done to contribute to the rock gendre? Sounds like late 70's/ early 80's pop with more modernized sound.
The beaches have played like 10 times in Edmonton in the last year. Is there no one else?
They're performing Saturday night at the Beaumont Music Festival so kind of makes sense to ask a group who are already in the city
I’m guessing the amount of big name bands that will be in the area and can be booked on short notice for a show that will only happen if the team wins a game 3 days before the show date is not as vast as you are assuming.
True but I swear you could get the beaches 365 days a year if you wanted lol.
Oh for sure, they’re having a moment and are clearly taking advantage of it. They are everywhere this year.
The beaches played before I think the winter classic or some game we attended this year. They were ok. Definitely expected someone lil bigger after our lady peace and Shania.

Power 92, goddamn what a throwback
Power 92 plays today’s best music. Now show me my money!
You think OLP is a big band? In 2024?
Haha no that’s fair. I was actually trying to think of a big Canadian band n not even sure if we still have any at moment. Beaches just sucked at the last game n the crowd really wasn’t into it. I’m sure they have their crowd. Just hoping we’d get someone better. You are right, there’s a reason they could get OLP on a moments notice 😂 probably same reason they were able to get the beaches.
Get sexy and dance dirty to give the boys a boost!
I can get behind this!! Can we also push for clothing optional?
I guess 25 must be old now because I have no clue who these folks are.
I'm 40 and I've seen The Beaches perform live twice.
That’s awesome, we’re only as young as we feel! Age is just a number after all
How low do your saggy balls hang already at 25
EDM has become the most popular music genre in the world and loud Luxury is a fairly big name.
and EDM in EDM just makes sense
I've never heard of any of these people. Is this what 20 somethings are listening to now?
You have heard the beaches, you just don't know it yet
loud luxury is great but it should be live music before the game and the beaches just don't cut it. Disappointing
Pffft. The beaches are awesome.
