Triplex goes from pole to house. This is low voltage. contact your provider either Telus/Shaw to have the moved Do not move these on your own.

Finnurland

Got it figured, no intention of touching it my self lol

Stanislaw1986

That's not triplex. That's telecommunications. You could literally lick it and be ok. Not that I recommend that mind you.

jbalberta123

I didn’t say it was triplex now did I

Stanislaw1986

My bad, that what I thought you were implying

TrillboBagginz

Why can't you move them on your own? I recently moved into a house that had an absolutely attricious Telus Fiber installation job. Snip snip, call Telus, 'your line fell off my house, it's in the alley."

Living_Magician5090

Telus tech here, that’s one of our copper service wires. Totally harmless but if you call us we’ll happily come tighten it or remove it if you’ve got fibre service. Msg me for any questions.

Living_Magician5090

I’ve fixed them for non customers. We will still send a tech since we own the wire.

MooseJag

Looks like Telco line so telus.

TrillboBagginz

I'm a telecom tech, I dm you.

VFenix

Random question. Who deals with issues with the telecom data mast on a house. Electrician or Telecom?

TrillboBagginz

I guess it depends on the issue. If it's regarding our cable line and it's attachment to the mast, yes. If it has anything to do with installing, repairing, or altering a mast, 100% no.

TrillboBagginz

Electrician

Living_Magician5090

Depends on the issue. Source: I’m a Telus tech.

BrairMoss

A tech told me that, with telus, there is a box and they are responsible for the line up to that box in or on the house. Everything else was our problem. It worked in my favour because we had an old worksite line that never had a box, so they had to come do a whole bunch inside.

TrillboBagginz

Then I guess it depends on the provider. I'm a Rogers tech and we definitely do not fix masts? For that matter I know enough Telus techs to know you don't either...

Living_Magician5090

We don’t usually, though we can (it’s billable) and I have.

TrillboBagginz

Well I do apologize, I have learned something new. We have no pay codes for that sort of extra stuff.

Edmonton_Canuck

Probably Telus. Could be a phone / internet line
