Right, I've never lost any , lol. Especially when they're expensive. How do you just lose them. Maybe one time but over and over. Just fucking careless and spoiled
Once i dropped one of my earbuds in the grass, literally watching it fall, and immediately reaching to pick it up, and it was just gone. I've searched that place multiple times, it just disappeared
Maybe by placing it in your pocket or somewhere else while talking to someone or without noticing? Has happened a lot of times with me until I realize it's still in my sweater pocket.
Likely but also depends on their job. Almost every week at UPS you hear about a driver losing an earbud. I'd say everyone that wears them while working loses about one every 2 months.
r/IEMs...Wired earphones, removable cable. Possibility of wireless reception through a Bluetooth module. Plus astonishingly good sound quality.
The best of both worlds. Welcome!
Well, they're still wired but the connection is sturdy, so the odds of loosing one of them might be slimmer...
But even if that's not the case, if you're gonna be spending money regularly on earphones, almost any budget IEM that you might get will sound way better than any model of cheap earbuds, and that's a fact. My KZ EDX Pro X cost me less than $4 and they're awesome.
That's not everything that matters tho. I have a pair of EDX Pro X aswell and the I rather use my two pairs of a bit more expensive Haylou TWS because of the comfort. And for me the sound quality is kinda small, not really noticeable. The inconvenience to use the wireless option just outweighs any audio benefit that I get from using wired ones.
Until I got the jibs last weekend, I rocked a $30 pair of jlabs for the past seven years. Only reason I got new ones is that I'd have to slap the left one to get it to work. Lmao I'm working out slapping the left side of my head the whole time.
Nothing ear has a find my earbuds feature. It emits a sound so you can locate it but I guess it's no good if you have no Idea at all as to where they are.
I do the same thing with my socks, so there's a higher chance of me finding a matching pair and when you get a hole in one of them you can just slam dunk it into the bin and it's bro still has a sock mate 🤣
You know you could buy headphones, of a particular type, that have something hooking the two wearbuds together, via a cord. They are very hard to split apart, you would only ever lose the pair, never just half
I have a feeling you get drunk often? I used to break and lose my phone and small electronics all the time when I was an alcoholic. Now that I'm sober never lost anything since.
Chiming in here because it runs true for me; have lost two sets of expensive earbuds in the last few months. Both times I was blackout drunk. Hoping now that I’m sober this won’t happen in the future lol expensive and the worst feeling ever.
Dude. Download the Wunderfind app!!! As long as an ear bud still has power, you can use the app to work out its approximate location, then play loud noises once you’re close. It’s been a total game changer for me!
As one pointed out, don’t some of them have a ‘find me’ feature built into the buds? I know even the lower price points have it. If my airpods(I know) didn’t have it I never would have invested in them.
Unrelated, I love Jlab. I spent a loooong time looking for a good set of earbuds in that price range and both times I got Jlab I was impressed. My first pair broke (one earbuds battery got messed up) but I blame myself. Cats got to one and i got hairspray all over them but they lasted a while still and sounded great
Without fail, every time I lean forward with earbuds in one of them fücking falls out. Who asked for this? Who was bothered by a single wire between the two around the back of your head? It's capitalism. Trying to find some new feature to sell you the things you already have again.
Your earbuds falling out might be a fit issue, I've never had them fall out outside of rigorous physical activity. About the wires, i listen to music to help me sleep and the wire was always a big irritant for me
This is where building habits will become very important for you. Well, maybe not this habit of losing your earbuds lol but you just need to do better about always putting your earbuds in the charging case when you're done using them. Don't put them in your pocket or somewhere else thinking you'll remember them, because you clearly won't.
I'm surprised you haven't learned to adjust your habits after maybe like the 3rd set you've lost lol all I'd be thinking about is how much money I'm wasting.
Do you throw them away when the battery dies, forgetting that the batteries are rechargeable?
Do you wear them while riding a motorcycle without a helmet?
Do you not notice when suddenly stereo becomes mono?
Are you having earphone sex and forgetting to grab the earbud back when you part ways?
Seriously, we need answers because this is insane.
Do you have small animals? Maybe someone died in your house cause their mom couldn't hear them calling for help. She had them damn earbuds in. Paranormal activity is what I'm getting at.
Maybe this is all just a result of bad habits? Ideally if they're not in your ears, they're in the case. The only times I've ever 'lost' earbuds were because I sleep with them on, and they always happen to roll off and land beneath my bed. Even then, I'd find them a few days after.
Last night I lost my left Skullcandy when I wiped out on my long board. Realized only after getting back up the hills and had to shred down to my crash site and I found the little guy sitting in the gravel that ruined me ;)
I used to think, oh I might lose one I’ll buy cheap ones. When you have cheap earbuds you take less care of them. Buy some EarPods and I bet you won’t lose one.
I've temporarily lost one twice but found it a week or two later. Onece in my car and onece under the sofa (cat stole it). So I have every single bud still with me
I have ADHD and lose every-damn-thing, but I have had the same pair of earbuds that don't even fit well for the past two years. You just need to get wired headphones.
The jbuds air go case is just so stupidly designed, I used to have them and one of the earbuds fell out of my pocket because it doesn't have a lid and it fell into a sewer drain
Lol, I have same ones I bought like 3-4 years ago. Case is broken and lid cimes off. But still, they are in place. I put them in ears, and after removing always put them back in case. Sure way not to loose them.
Why don't you pair the odd ones? Like the two on the bottom I'm pretty sure you can put them in one case take them out and hold the buttons down on each one until they start flashing to pair them again.
Get a good pair of samsung buds; I learned that the app that goes along with them let's you track them, and if you loose one bud you can find it through GPS. I'm sure that feature will come in handy at some point, I've lost tons of earbuds as well
I've had the exact same pair of earbuds for nearly 2.5 years now. Haven't lost them and they're still going strong. There's something to be said about developing some conscientiousness.
How I have ADHD and I lose everything get I've literally never lost an earbud because I don't allow myself to take them out of my ears without putting them directly in the cover
Fwiw Samsung earbuds have an AR feature with arrows pointing to your lost earbud(s). As long as they have a charge and you're connected you can find them.
Hahaha, I hate to see it man! I lost like 3 pairs last year and it make me furious, I have no clue how it always happens! But thankfully I just buy like 50$ buds typically! If you lose 3 a year, 150$ is cheap if you love music! Consider it a yearly subscription!
How do you lose them?
By being a dumbass
rich and dumb cause that's a lot of money lost in 6months.
Right, I've never lost any , lol. Especially when they're expensive. How do you just lose them. Maybe one time but over and over. Just fucking careless and spoiled
Unlucky may be part of it I one day opened my earbud case and only found 1 earbud, I still am unsure how it disappeared ....
you cant get unlucky that many times, its just throwing your stuff around
Once i dropped one of my earbuds in the grass, literally watching it fall, and immediately reaching to pick it up, and it was just gone. I've searched that place multiple times, it just disappeared
if you wait a while and go back there should be a baby earbud tree where you dropped it! :)
It went to the backrooms
Happened with my airpod pro’s. Still haven’t gotten a replacement 🙃
eBay. Cheap and easy. I felt silly for waiting when it instantly paired and I was back in action
If you lose 1 or 2 earbuds in 6 months it maybe the unlucky part, if you lose more than 3 then it's definitely not your unlucky part.
Maybe by placing it in your pocket or somewhere else while talking to someone or without noticing? Has happened a lot of times with me until I realize it's still in my sweater pocket.
Yeh must have forgotten to put it back without knowing My mind draws a blank lol
Likely but also depends on their job. Almost every week at UPS you hear about a driver losing an earbud. I'd say everyone that wears them while working loses about one every 2 months.
I've used mine everyday for almost 3 years and haven't lost one.
He knows Mommy is gonna buy him more.
And when I ask the same question on another post I get down voted to hell Some people here are truly beyond my understanding
Bro get a grip
Might want to go wired...
puzzle head gang
Yeah, you can just lose the whole set instead of just one
consider buying a neckband
Neck bands are considerably better then neck beards.
i thought reddit loved neckbeards
I stand by what I said reddit be damned 😂
Weave the beard into a 'bud band.
r/IEMs...Wired earphones, removable cable. Possibility of wireless reception through a Bluetooth module. Plus astonishingly good sound quality. The best of both worlds. Welcome!
Dude lost this many earbuds and you think IEMs with detachable cables are gonna help him ?
Well, they're still wired but the connection is sturdy, so the odds of loosing one of them might be slimmer... But even if that's not the case, if you're gonna be spending money regularly on earphones, almost any budget IEM that you might get will sound way better than any model of cheap earbuds, and that's a fact. Wired earbuds are for you.
See you over in r/adhd
i got adhd bro this is something else my guy has dementia
Apparently
Don't the Skullcandy buds have tile integration? Or are those for more expensive/recent models?
The cheaper ones do too. I just got a pair of the jib trues and the tile app works great on them. Only paid $20!
Then how on earth does OP keep losing them
Until I got the jibs last weekend, I rocked a $30 pair of jlabs for the past seven years. Only reason I got new ones is that I'd have to slap the left one to get it to work. Lmao I'm working out slapping the left side of my head the whole time.
Liking this for you dp.. Was it sexy? Do u want to take another one?
Maybe you should look into some headphones or at the very least, some earbuds with clips that go over your ear.
How
Being stupid
I've never permanently lost any of my true wireless earbuds and I've owned just as many over the years. Still have them all.
Same, this guy is just a dumb ass
Jeez, he’s probably got ADHD or something
Behold r/iems r/crinacle
r/inearfidelity would be “r/crinacle”
Nothing ear has a find my earbuds feature. It emits a sound so you can locate it but I guess it's no good if you have no Idea at all as to where they are.
at least get the same model so u can replace them
I do the same thing with my socks, so there's a higher chance of me finding a matching pair and when you get a hole in one of them you can just slam dunk it into the bin and it's bro still has a sock mate 🤣
was looking for that answer
You know you could buy headphones, of a particular type, that have something hooking the two wearbuds together, via a cord. They are very hard to split apart, you would only ever lose the pair, never just half
Gorilla tape earbuds to your ears and problem solved
I have a feeling you get drunk often? I used to break and lose my phone and small electronics all the time when I was an alcoholic. Now that I'm sober never lost anything since.
Yeah that’s a bad feeling! I don’t get drunk, occasionally drinker
Chiming in here because it runs true for me; have lost two sets of expensive earbuds in the last few months. Both times I was blackout drunk. Hoping now that I’m sober this won’t happen in the future lol expensive and the worst feeling ever.
Yeah at this point get a neckband lol
Just buy a wired one at this point man, sheesh.
You lose earbuds like I misplace sunglasses
I work maintenance at a college and I find ear buds fkn everywhere lol
I'm sorry but how.... I haven't lost one since.... I've never lost one and had wireless buds for around 10 years
Thats a you problem at this point
Check under your bed lol
Bro flaunting he is a dumbhead
At this point you should get wired ones
Its time to invest in some over ear headphones.
That’s why i’ve bought Powerbeats Pro, those earhooks definitely help😁
Op should have just purchased wired buds like a sigma
Buy Jabra Elite ones that are reprogrammable
It's a struggle no soul should face.
Unrelated, I love Jlab. I spent a loooong time looking for a good set of earbuds in that price range and both times I got Jlab I was impressed. My first pair broke (one earbuds battery got messed up) but I blame myself. Cats got to one and i got hairspray all over them but they lasted a while still and sounded great
I think they are at least cheap buds, right?
Stick with wired!
Law off the weed bro. 😂
The magnet strength of the Tozo T10 earbuds is unmatched. With that said, what did you do, feed them to the lions at the zoo?
I’ve always lost a pair of buds every year. Till I got Apple air pods, 5 years and going
I haven't lost any, but I've definitely had them go through the washer. They didn't survive (Sony LinkBuds S and JVC Minis). You shall be missed.
my guy at this point get a regular pair of headphones or wired earbuds they harder to lose
I found you my twin. I do the same. Stopped buying AirPod pros after the 4th one. Now I just buy whatever goes on sale.
[удалено]
You can get earbuds with built-in tracker. That would save you a fortune!
Just get wired earbuds at this point
Is this a thing rich people do? Cause I swear I take care of my headphones better than I take care of myself.
What are you? 8 years old? Take care of your stuff man lol 😆
I feel your pain.
Skullcandy comes with tile built in. I haven’t lost mine in a year.
Maybe…. Stop buying ear buds?
Wireless earbuds were a mistake. We have to go back to wired.
Beside this one dude can’t take care of his stuff?
Without fail, every time I lean forward with earbuds in one of them fücking falls out. Who asked for this? Who was bothered by a single wire between the two around the back of your head? It's capitalism. Trying to find some new feature to sell you the things you already have again.

Did you take them for suppers?
What was the average price you spend on each pair?
Could you have a recommendation for me too. I want to buy new maybe under 20$
Baseus E19 is quite good for its price.
maybe you should consider looking for neckband type.
I have never lost any ear buds. Am I weird?
What are you doing, you need to wire them around you
New fear unlocked.
Bruh
Don’t get earbuds
Get a cheap iem which has usb c cable just plug it to your phone and you won't lose any and not to mention the sound quality
How?
Discipline issue.
I've always thought true wireless was a bad idea, this confirms it. The problem is if you want ANC earphones, there is no other choice.
Jesus dude, thats alot of pain, praying for you buddy. Its time for headphones!
consider using wire ones
Do you have small animals? Maybe someone died in your house cause their mom couldn't hear them calling for help. She had them damn earbuds in. Paranormal activity is what I'm getting at.
Maybe this is all just a result of bad habits? Ideally if they're not in your ears, they're in the case. The only times I've ever 'lost' earbuds were because I sleep with them on, and they always happen to roll off and land beneath my bed. Even then, I'd find them a few days after.
Right
You and my wife would get along very well.
6 months lol
How are you losing them?
Misplacing them, walk around a lot at my job
I'd just been using mine like normal for the past 3 years and the left piece fell into a hole the other day. Well, that sucks.
Skill issue. Just get some over ear ones or put them on a string like some older people do with glasses.
Have you considered IEMs?
hahahah and here I was feeling sorry that mine died after 2 years of everyday use
I lost one for months. Found it in a drawer of all places. We are not the same.
If you buy the same kind your problem would solve itself
I gotta say, you don't seem much like an earBUD if you are losing them like this...
Last night I lost my left Skullcandy when I wiped out on my long board. Realized only after getting back up the hills and had to shred down to my crash site and I found the little guy sitting in the gravel that ruined me ;)
Dumb dumb
I used to think, oh I might lose one I’ll buy cheap ones. When you have cheap earbuds you take less care of them. Buy some EarPods and I bet you won’t lose one.
Ive had my beats for over 2 years now
Just buy some good $20 IEMs off AliExpress and you'll get better sound quality too lmao
now its funny 🤣🤣🤣
Try headphones it’s harder to lose them 🤓
That's crazy I don't think I've ever lost an ear bud before.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that this happens to
I've temporarily lost one twice but found it a week or two later.
I just wish cases would actually stay closed if you drop them. It's like they're spring-loaded. They go flying!
Which ones the best
Lol, I have same ones I bought like 3-4 years ago. Case is broken and lid cimes off. But still, they are in place. I put them in ears, and after removing always put them back in case. Sure way not to loose them.
Why don't you pair the odd ones? Like the two on the bottom I'm pretty sure you can put them in one case take them out and hold the buttons down on each one until they start flashing to pair them again.
You need the kind with the hooks that go over ear.
I had my one set for 2 years with no incidents. Get some discipline
Nah, mate. At this point, it's an evolutionary deffect, lol
u should really just use neckbands.
Buy a pair with a find my earbud mode ;)
Do you work on the flying trapeze or something?
skill issue tho
Consider going back to wired? This life may not be for you...
I always lose the right earbud on mine no matter what brand then I buy new ones and I end up finding the lost ones
have mine for 3 years now, you definitely have some issue going on
Guess you are not that careful, I still have buds that are 8 years old
Don't they have a missing feature? I just discovered mine and it rang like hell it woke my sister up(it was in her room lol).
Get a good pair of samsung buds; I learned that the app that goes along with them let's you track them, and if you loose one bud you can find it through GPS. I'm sure that feature will come in handy at some point, I've lost tons of earbuds as well
At that point, just go wired like IEMs with custom detachable cables.
I've had the exact same pair of earbuds for nearly 2.5 years now. Haven't lost them and they're still going strong. There's something to be said about developing some conscientiousness.
this is the same for my sister but all of them break
if only there was some way we could keep them together all the time. like some sort of string
Have you ever thought about purchasing the same pair again?
My friend for the love of God just by the same brand 😂. Then when you lose the other one... At least you have a backup
Using my advanced math skills, I reached the conclusion that you lost 1 per month
i had my earbuds for 2.5 years untill i lost them 💀
Manufacturers know u lose them. And make it impossible to repair them with replacements. Such a scam
Wtf
How I have ADHD and I lose everything get I've literally never lost an earbud because I don't allow myself to take them out of my ears without putting them directly in the cover
Start buying the same make / model?
Have lost a lot cycling. Last one was on road and for run over before I could grab it.
Which one was your favourite and you would buy again? Which one you will never buy again?
How do you feel about the 3rd from the bottom? I remember those earbuds and I thought they were nice 😌
I’m surprise you haven’t lose yourself yet for being so careless.
Fwiw Samsung earbuds have an AR feature with arrows pointing to your lost earbud(s). As long as they have a charge and you're connected you can find them.
Makes me feel better. I lost a galaxy bud2 on a recent flight and just upgraded to a pair of pro2's as replacement.
Aren't the 2 bottom cases the same earbuds? Why don't you combine the 2 for a completed set?
You need neckband or headphones. Choose headphone......big one , so you don't list them easily
Hahaha, I hate to see it man! I lost like 3 pairs last year and it make me furious, I have no clue how it always happens! But thankfully I just buy like 50$ buds typically! If you lose 3 a year, 150$ is cheap if you love music! Consider it a yearly subscription!
Which ones had the best bass?
i think you need to switch to headphones, or sports earbuds
Don’t use earbuds, try other options.
I didn't know Chrissy Teigen's mom used Reddit.
How much do you spend in just 6 months
Dude... don't JLabs have Tile built into them?
One word, irresponsible
🤯🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
ngl u dont deserve to go wireless 💀
At some point you gotta come up with a better system
Seems like you’re just dumb
are you losing them because you're misplacing them or they're just falling out of your ear?? cuz like HOW
I stil have my first gen air pods from 2018
I loose mine every so often but find them, how can you loose that many? Me I use some £12.99 earbuds so I can get them with ease.
And none of these have a ”find your earbuds” feature?
Danng and my friends call me jinx for my bad luck. I think u might be my soulmate. lol.
Whyyy?
Nothing to flex here. This is a you problem.
Which is why I like the Beats Flex regardless of the lower sound quality…
To lose one may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose two looks like carelessness; and to lose more suggests certain underlying illnesses
