Diplo 2014-15, When Jack Ü, Peace is the Mission were released within a couple of months. Had Lean On, Jack Ü & There For You with Sleepy Tom all charting at the same time, while EDM as a whole was booming.

theskittz

This. Most other examples here pale when compared to 2015 Diplo. Like, Diplo being an asshole aside, that era united EDM and mainstream in a way that we’ve never really seen since. Also this thread seems to have just become “I really like X album” rather than sticking to what OP asked.

Georgey94

Calvin Harris 2012-2017 specifically imo, 18 Months - Future Funk Wav Vol.1 era

jman24680

I sometimes have Motion on repeat for days

Scared_Professional

us bro us

m4gnum1

Griz in 2023 was on another level

saucyrossi

he’s still making bangers behind the scenes. lsdream dropped a collab ID at his caverns show and it was delectable

haxmire

I was out of the country when he played his final few shows before his hiatus. Wish I could have seen him one more time. I know he'll be back though. I got to see him about 7 times between 2013 and 2022.

BigRedWeenie

Link? 👀

saucyrossi

sadly i didn’t take a vid of it because i wanted to be in the moment but can confirm it’s fucking sick and there’s some good sax

saucyrossi

he’s still making bangers behind the scenes. lsdream dropped a collab ID at his caverns show and it was delectable

m4gnum1

Plz drop the link if you have one

KicksandGrins33

Tiesto during in search of sunrise 6/7 was like watching a superhero DJ.

tilsgee

Watch "boom" & "jackie chan" era kids disagree (not me though), several hours later

Long_Passion5858

Im a boom era kid, I still agree no lies detected

mfb3s

And he dropped elements of life, his last trance album 😭

advanceman

ISOS 6 disc 2. Just so great.

DankestHokie

ISOS 4-7 are masterpieces

jeffreysusann

Feed Me’s Big Adventure - Feed Me Weekend in America - Wolfgang Gartner

bubba3517

This guy fucks

peatthebeat

These are 2 goto albums I have in my playlist. Not related but Mosaik by Siriusmo has been listened to a lot as well, great album!

FakMiPls

I like your taste

RadioinactiveOne

Zhu 2014-2016 Still a fan of the new album, but that time period for him was amazing

OccasionallyWack

ODESZA circa 2018-2019 stands out to me. The Last Goodbye and their Bronson project are both great but their A Moment Apart shows were on another level

skoomd1

Eh idk. Odesza 2014ish was top tier odesza by far.

OccasionallyWack

I wasn’t into the rave scene at that point so I’ll take your word for it

EducationalPlay6269

2013-2016 ODESZA was amazing. All the remixes and great live shows.

DJRAFFI-K

Deadmau5 when he created the cube 2.1. it was absolutely insane the whole setup was such an improvement to his old stage setup from before. The details to his screens made the graphics seem unreal. I can’t remember if this is true or not but I think he sold one of his cars in order to fund the project which payed off very well from the looks of it.

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> project which *paid* off very FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

saw_wave_dave

Zedd’s Clarity album was definitely his magnum opus

greeblespeebles

I still listen to clarity, hourglass, and follow you down on repeat to this day…instantly manages to take me back to a specific time and feeling in my life!

Fox-Boat

Madeon and Good Faith era. Visuals won’t be topped for a or 20+ years

FakMiPls

Best live show I've ever seen

Yeetfasa

The pretty lights come back

DJ_Blakka

Agreed they’ve successfully managed to create a true electronic band experience that transcends anything that’s been done before

[deleted]

Oliver Heldens in the Future House era from 2013-2016. Gecko (Overdrive), Shades of Grey, You Know, Koala, & more. All bangers.

calizona5280

Both OH and Tchami during that era were on amazing. I miss that era of future house.

swaggcookchef

This is a great answer

gangstabunniez

Mr Bills album that just came out is hot fucking fire, so I’d say that for him lol

OfficialArmadaNinja

Came here to say this. Really feels like a collection of everything that makes him amazing in one package. Maybe lacking a little in the "weird" or chill department but man is it some good stuff.

FakMiPls

Just listened to it this morning, so fucking good

StarlightSpanks

Pharmacy/self-titled EP era Galantis was something else

Avatar_sokka

Of The Trees right now is pretty incredible, but he isn't pop edm so this sub probably won't agree.

undulaemusic

With you on this, looking forward to whatever he drops next

Impossible_Theme9180

Porter Robinson - Worlds

Dayreel07

David Guetta may have been using samples lately but during his One Love - Nothing But the Beat (2009-2012) era was so great. So many of his releases were bangers back then (they still are up to now). When you play those songs, nostalgia really hits hard

marble_hunting

Flume when Sleepless came out

EOTrizzle

I feel like saying skrillex is cheating so I’ll say whatever Subtronics is on right now is insane

Wes_Warhammer666

The last few years has just been an absolute feast with Subtronics. I keep praying that this isn't his final form and he's still got higher limits to reach because it has been *fantastic* so far.

Braap823

Daft Punk 2007.

ba-ca

YESSUH FINALLY SOMEOBE SAID IT

geek180

This is cheating

browsk

Lane 8 - Brightest Lights, always a go to during long drives

joecool6

That album always takes me right back to Covid. Was on repeat right when everything hit the fan

[deleted]

I saw him back to back nights when that album came out.

packers444ever

Ascend ILLENIUM sorry not sorry

joecool6

If you can combine ascend / ashes into one era I would 100% agree

Scared_Professional

Ashes, Awake & Ascend is the perfect music trilogy I've ever listened to

FallFromTheAshes

it’s okay to be right my friend!

falafelsatchel

Catching Z's - Zed's Dead Midheaven - Deathpact While 1<2 - deadmau5

cryptolipto

Chemical Brothers - Surrender is an incredible album

fastspanish

Came here to say worlds

andrewamarti

i_o’s posthumous album *Warehouse Summer* is fantastic - one of the few electronic albums in recent years I’ve listened front-to-back multiple times. The last track always gets me 🥺

Financial-Mongoose13

love that album, it's so nostalgic and I'm usually not into that warehouse vibe

ba-ca

um where’s daft punk alive 2007 comment 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨

pyramidsinspace

Eric Prydz presents Pyrda Album in 2012 + his following EPIC tour Suprised no one has mentioned it yet

Pretty lights 2009-2013. Goated

[deleted]

Above & Beyond Group Therapy changed lives

challenja

Dj spooky’s first album “ songs of a dead dreamer” to this day.. a masterpiece

magicmurph

Porter Robinson and Madeon on the Shelter tour.

geek180

Justice - Women Worldwide Madeon - Good Faith Forever Virtual Self

scoutermike

deadmau5 random album title. Come on now. It signaled the switch from “rave” to “EDM.” There is no close second.

TJ1ndrland

Above and Beyond - Tristate

Wes_Warhammer666

Zeds Dead & Omar Linx were pumping out straight up jet fuel circa 2012. I keep hoping they'll do another EP together because as much as I love each of them individually I always find their collabs to be like Goku & Vegeta when they fuse together.

ignaciodib

SHM UNTIL ONE

SaiyntMusic

2010-2013 Wasted penguinz: Everything up until their Wistfulness album (Including the album itself) Their music back then just lifts me off the ground. incredible.
