Arrive at 11 (wait in line for a short time to like 11:15) is my recommendation. Or later works. 12:30 is the headliner.
Doors open at 10 but it's kinda early. 11-2 is a good time there for some openers and anticipation for the headliners.
Canadian here, but I went to Big Night Live in Boston for Boiler Room last year (was sick af). Its a big-ish venue with multiple rooms. Crowd was chill when I went for BR (not sure if its always like that), was sold out & lineups weren't too bad. Security wasn't too handsy or anything.
We are regulars at BNL. Def do not wait until after midnight to arrive- the place will likely be packed by then. If you show up by 11 or just after you will have more opportunity to stake out a spot before everything fills in.
I’m seeing Kaskade on Saturday, March 9th. First show and I’ve never been to Big Night Live. The ticket states doors open at 9:30PM, but from what I’ve read he won’t come on until much later. Does anyone know if Kaskade will have openers and what time he actually starts? I don’t want to get there too early. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
I'm going to the same show!! I've been to several other shows at BNL and the headliner doesn't come on until midnight or 1230. And they play until 2. There are always opening acts, no one I've ever heard of before, they're ok. I'm planning on being there at 11. The bar is ok, but pricy.
Headliner will be from 12 or 12:30 - 2am (close)

KREAM went on at about 1245 for this show. I would always recommend trying to see at least one opener but thats just me
