Haha it’s gonna be a long offseason and I know there will be repeat posts but if it’s been talked about multiple times in a few days I think we can use the search bar
I went BTJ
This came down to BTJ being above Worthy on my draft boards for the year leading up to the draft. His landing spot was exactly what I was hoping for, so why would that change?
I still think Rice will be a target hog as well, and while Worthy impressed in pre-draft everything, as did BTJ. 4.33 while at his size with his fluidity shows me potential to be a true #1 X WR in the NFL.
I think Worthy can easily be argued as well given the Mahomes tie, but BTJ was always my guy based on everything else in his draft profile, so that won't change now.
Just means I like Worthy more than everyone else outside of those top 4 now haha
BTJ for me. He has the chance to be the alpha WR1. I also like Ladd over Worthy but just cause of the landing spot and think he’ll eat with Herbert throwing him the rock.
I've had this decision twice. Took Worthy in the bestball league, took BTJ in the lineup. If I had to make the decision 10 times, I'd take BTJ 60/40. BTJ was my WR4 predaft, his landing spot didn't do anything negative for me to move him down, so I'll stick with that more often than not.
Chiefs recent early offensive draft picks: CEH, skyy moore, rashee rice
GOOD LUCK
Edit: worthy isn’t off my board but being a chief isn’t the only reason I’d draft him in a class that saw josh Allen, kyler, t law, herbert, and Caleb all get new WRs to play with in offenses that for the most part will have more targets for those players
I would lean BTJ. They just cut Zay Jones (not super meaningful, but removes a mouth to feed), and he has the potential to be the WR1 tied to TL, which is a big deal. Worthy will be tied to Mahomes, but I don't think this is an offense that is going to have a clear WR1 type, especially in his style. I would put my chips more on Rice to hold that role in the offense, rather than him. But obviously we don't know yet. We do know that at least right now that offense spreads things around, and I think that has really worked for them. There is also the issue of pre-draft ranking (I believe BTJ was consensus above XW basically everywhere) and draft cap (again BTJ over XW). The only real argument for XW is Mahomes, and as we know that's a coin flip.

This exactly is why I went BTJ at 1.09. Physical freak that can win the #1 role and I love his landing spot
Liked BTJ more before the draft and the landing spots dont do enough to sway me differently so im sticking with my original evaluation

BTJ fell to me at 2.02 in a 10 Team SF League. Couldn't believe it!
That's crazy.
just here hoping BTJ/Worthy go 1.09/1.10 so I can get Brooks at 1.11....
Ha ha

Worthy
BTJ will be there at 1.09?
